Greenhouse Quests Feb 2023
Juniper exhales as she looks over the field in front of her, already scraped of grass and weeds, now needing to be tilled. It was a smaller patch within her greenhouse, so she wouldn’t be able to move any equipment in, and she daren’t use any kind of magic for such a delicate crop… even mild aggravation to the soil could guarantee a low or no turnout, and the chances of this fruiting a rune was low to begin with. This would have to be tilled, sown, and cared for entirely by hand. She looked around her greenhouse, making sure she had all of her equipment nearby, backup equipment, and anything at all for any kind of emergency or wildcard situation. There were many a chimereon waiting to hear about rune growth, and she was so, so nervous about accidentally ruining their chances at finally actualizing their true and ideal selves. It was a lot of pressure! She had a lot of pressure to deal with! She knew she could do it, she’d done it a hundred times before, but it always felt different

Greenhouse Quests Sept 2022
Beck had been given a couple of options: go to jail for stealing soda and snacks, or do a couple of weeks community service. From there, no options were offered - he’d be taking whatever task was handed to him and dealing with it. Better than jail, he supposed, aggravated that he got caught at all - or that anyone could be THIS mad about a few stolen soda cans and chip bags. He’d have paid if asked, he was just pushing his luck, thats all. He had been waiting to hear what his community service would be, expecting something mundane and unclassy like litter picking or public pool cleaning, but instead… Shoveling and moving…dirt? For someone called Juniper? Whatever, it would be hard and annoying work but it beat going to jail over a couple of snacks. He woke up barely on time for his first day, only rushing to the scene so he didn’t get his sentence extended, or whatever happened when someone didn’t show up promptly for their dumb court assigned busy work. He looked around the

A Ship in Port Part 2 - Summer 2022 Event
Ahh, Juniper had expected the rebuild to go ahead, but not quite as fast as that! She’d barely gotten home and checked on her greenhouse before she received the call that the foundations were being sunk to brace the skeleton of the new ship! She tidied up her last few tasks at the greenhouse and rushed back to the beach, trying to turn over in her mind what jobs she’d be able to do, though that was proving to be exceedingly difficult while she was rushing from point A to point B. Upon arriving, it seemed that part was handled for her. She was going to be assisting with transporting parts and tools, and as a backup heaver if the ropes needed extra hands on deck. She scampered over to the materials table, unfolding a hemp bag as quickly as chimereonly possible, snatching up a list of items that would be needed round the front of the ship. Pretty standard stuff, she assumed…? A saw, some nails, misc other things that were already being pushed into her hands. Easy enough to pile into

A Ship in Port Part 1 - Summer 2022 Event
Juniper scratched her head eyes drifting over the amount of debris on the beach…while she had happily volunteered to help, she hadn't expected it to be quite this messy. She was there now, though, so despite itching to get back to her studies, she strode off the rocks and down onto the sand, making headway to a patch of beach she didn’t see many other folks working at. She tidied smaller pieces of splintered wood into a hemp bag, trying to use her claws so as not to end up injured during her task. She waved to people as they walked by, or came over to help her move some larger pieces (was that a bedframe…?) out of the way so she could continue digging out more hidden bits and pieces. She didn’t want anybody stepping on those and getting hurt! While she had lotions and potions for the people at the beach now, she couldn’t hang around there forever - anyone injured she left would be out of luck unless they also so happened to be a botanist! Among the wood she found pot fragments, her
