Ever since Wings o Fire's Darkness of Dragons had concluded, and the author had turned her attention to some other continent of dragons by the Third Arc, I was craving for much more chronicles or stories based around Pyrrhia, whether it be about previous main characters or supporters that obviously needed more 'screen time'. The stuff about the bug-dragons in the Lost Continent never really peeked my interests at all (except for maybe some of the characters and when it taught a lesson about standing up to totalitarianism), and yet the only reason why I even read the third arc was in hopes that it would once again turn their attention back to Pyrrhia with more interactions involving the previous characters that I fell in love with from the start.
