Fredericks and Finkleson Lightning Carbine

Doing more development for steampunk Rosemary commission. I have a good idea which outfit she'll be wearing link so now it is on to the weaponry in the picture. McClaw and I are still trying to decide whether it will be a long arm or sidearm in the picture. Here is a possible long arm candidate.

The Fredericks and Finklesons Fantastic Lightning Carbine employs a principle similar to David Drake's Powerguns link hence the great bronze cooling fins adorning the barrel and muzzle. The weapon is single shot which is not necessarily a bad thing since it keeps the rate of fire down to level wear the current materials can attempt to keep up with the heat generated by the firing.
