Description
Further refining of the airship from last posting and a perspective study for the final piece. As final composition came into existence I realized that forward maneuvering nozzles were positioning too far forward and the would obstruct to of the view out of the observation deck. So I moved them rearward a few feet.
Also I wanted to make certain that I understand some of the perspective tricks I'd be dealing with. Which I soon discovered I didn't. The trick is that the observation bridge floor and ceiling are pointed like an arrowhead. The windows are angled outward and the glass is also curved. Fortunately I was dealing with a relatively simple single point perspective which made things a little bit easier. I have made a few more tweaks to design for the final picture.

I've found the gondola to be the hardest part of drawing an airship without it looking strange, but this looks super slick, and it integrated right into the superstructure so well.
