Trying something new here. Got a little sick of seeing so many of those intensly colored scenes when i browse through my gallery. This is not 100% black and white but very close. I quite like how it turned out. One of my better ones i'd say.

Asteroids done in 3dsm all the rest in photoshop.

cheers :D. hope you like. this being a very dark scene FULL VIEW IS ESSENTIAL.

comments and :+fav:'s are allways much appreciated. hit me.

I actually really love this. =D It's features the simple, awesome beauty of space, but in a more old school way... at least, that's what I think. ^^ Uhh, perhaps old school with a modern twist... xD (isn't making sense anymore)

Never mind, let's just say I love it! xD

<jealous> :)

what is capturing is the vast sense of the planet and the asteroids and the sun as if you could assume the colossal distance between each. In other words, the perspective is extremely realistic.

Many space-scene artists make their space scenes too fantasy-like or unrealistic with bright colors, but this one marks what might be reality in real space.

thx a lot. glad you like it. i know what you mean, but i guess space-art will allways be devided in fantasy and realism...

this is nicely done...nice job on it.

i like how you didn't add a lot of color to this, a lot of space scenes are a little overdone lately with all the really bright colors! :P

anyway...nice work, great detail...:+fav:
