Antique seraphim or cherub head in Brass

This brass head was at Monk’s Kirby Church in England, UK. I think it was on a lectern, but the rope fastened to it makes me uncertain; i forgot to note the context so if you happen to live in the village let me know

You can see the remains of Brasso polish in the crevices.
