Another month and some more random waffling though on some things I played/watched this month
Divine Dynamo Flamfrit
This is an interesting little SNES style throwback title, that feels very Goemon Coded (Levels feel like a more action oriented take on the ‘town’ sections of Legend of Mystical Ninja while the Boss fights Play like the Impact Sequences from the later, Japan Exclusive, SNES Goemon Games) and is honestly a decent amount of fun. Though it does show how games have changed over time as 4 level action game, while not laudable for it’s length, would have been a decent experience back in the 8 to 16 bit era; but in a modern context its extremely short, arguably even for its $6.99 price tag. I suppose the fact the game saves a frequent checkpoints as opposed to something like this having no save function and needing to be cleared in a single sitting back in the day; but that just has the same matter but for different reasons.
