I'll explain. How I figure a superhero story should go is: a person decides they are going to help push the world toward being a better place, they put on a mask (because vigilante justice is illegal), they experience great personal risk, they meet other hero types, they experience great personal risk together, they thwart evil, and at some point afterwards the heroes have to deal with mentally/emotionally processing the trauma they've put up with, they take their masks off around each other, and they've found themselves with a trusting friendship and aren't alo
