The Moon Maiden

For 's Moon Maidens contest, where we're supposed to design a moon princess/queen.

Usagi/Serena is a lot of fun to draw, although the meatballs gave me hell this time.

I freehanded this in Flash, and colored it in Photoshop. When I was done, Photoshop froze and I had to re-do it from about half-way through, because I'd forgotten to save *sigh*. But it turned out nicely. I wanted her in a really light dress, and I love the corset-type dresses.

The pattern at the bottom of the dress took a while to do, but I like how it turned out. The hands are really the only thing I don't like about this, but I didn't have the patience to do something with them... might go back and fix later.
