Been doing a lot of practice lately, looking at some of the classic Marvel and DC comics from the 90’s and appreciating just how awesome the physiques were on the superheroines, especially given how ‘simplified’ they were. By simplified I guess I mean that there wasn’t the crazy amount of line work and shading there is nowadays, comics had that ‘I’m up against a deadline’ kinda look about them but the girls still looked perfect.
So this page is kind of a mix up of my own figures and those inspired by those classic, 90’s era comics. I’ve tried to keep them simple and occasionally added contour lines to give the impression of shading and volume.
