I’ll start out with an apology for not being on here for so long, and in turn for such poor correspondence, be it notes, chats, messages etc. No. Actually, I’ll start by apologising for this rather dreary journal entry!😄Anyone who knows me well, will know that, despite some challenges, I’m generally a very jovial sort of bloke and love a good laugh, so whilst this is kind of an honest journal, I’ve still tried to throw in some humour. Hello folks, I know that I don’t frequent deviantArt as much as I used to, but I feel like I have had quite a long spell away from it recently. I’m also aware that my correspondence has been a lot worse. I’ve also got a couple of commissions going that I made a good start on back in April and haven’t really progressed much since. Here’s why. So, I’ve always been quite open about the more personal side of my life because the truth is, it can affect what time I can give to the art side of my life, and in this virtual world it’s quite easy to assume the worst when people fall off the radar. If you’ve read my previous journals, you’ll be aware that my boy is severely autistic and for the last year has been going through school refusal. This obviously presented an awful lot of challenges for myself, my wife and my daughter, especially as my son would self harm if he got distressed to a certain level. Haven’t offered commissions in a long time due to family commitments so… Gotta keep these simple as I don’t have much free time anymore. Limited background.
