Week Away Vacay

2 min read
Hey DA, haven’t posted a journal for a long time so time to touch base. THANK YOU Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone for sticking with me and following my gallery. I apologise for not being more responsive in general but I really struggle with time now, trying to balance all the different aspects of my life. A WEEK AWAY For the first time in in three years I’m actually going away for a weeks holiday. I know I’ve already mentioned that my correspondence on DA is lacking but for this week I won’t be responding to any notes or messages whilst I spend time with my family. However, over the last few weeks I’ve had increasing numbers of enquiries for commissions. I still have a couple of outstanding commissions to finish, but once these are done I shall open up commission slots again. This is something that I shall hopefully do upon returning from vacation. Again, I know I’ve been remiss in replying to people via notes and chats, for which I apologise. SUBSCRIBERS A huge thank you

Been a while since I’ve written and posted a journal on DA. I have been seriously slacking! So it’s about time for an update! SUBSCRIPTION PAGE In December last year I decided to test out the very new deviantArt Subscription system. I’d been toying with the idea of creating a Patreon Page to upload reference, advice and tutorial (and other art) pages, but decided to stick with deviantart and give them a try, especially as it’s a forum that’s allowed me to develop a good following and meet like-minded fans and artists over the years. Plus, I thought willing subscribers would rather keep it all on one platform rather than transfer over to another? THE REASON. This may be a bit of an assumption but I would say that a lot of people have a ‘side hustle’ to ‘compliment’ their job.😄 Art and illustration has always been mine. For a long time I was happy sharing my art freely, especially the figure and physique references from my sketchbook. Over time though I found that all of this was

Well, I've been saying I was going to do this for a long time. I've always wanted to do a patron funded page where I could showcase not only tutorials but also original characters, fan art and all sorts of other stuff. And now I have. So welcome to my very own subs page on deviantArt. As the intro to my page says, I've been aiming to do tutorials, especially centred around drawing female muscle in a comic style for ages, but in book form. Unfortunately, this is a slow process, double-checking my resources, making sure that I've got things right, etc and trying to organise that into a book is a big job. As such, it's not getting out there quick enough. But since we're in the digital era now I thought it was about time I got on board too. I can make what I'm doing available digitally in either PDF or JPG form and that way it gets to folks quicker. Who knows, if this is successful enough, over time I might have enough to put into a book? I was originally going to do this through

Cool, thanks bro. I’ve not seen the full episode yet ‘cos my daughter doesn’t want me to watch it without her!😂😂😂

heh I don't always watch anime if I follow the manga, feels I'm watching the same thing.

do watch certain moments

Just happened across your page, wanting to say hello, gallery looks great, and thanks for posting content that seeks to share your skills and help folks develop theirs!

Hey, sorry this is a late reply, thank you for your message and kind words. I hope to keep posting all sorts of things here and I hope folks keep finding them useful. Thanks again.

Ditto on 'sorry for the late reply', haha, I haven't been able to get online for a bit. I'm doing digital art (using 3d models) now, but that could change anytime. When I'm back to the lineart I'll definitely be taking a closer look at your stuff

Thanks for supporting the work of NRG Comics™! It means so much to have your following as we grow in our goals!

I'm offering commissions!
