The scent of roses hung in the morning air. Leon had smelled it from his stable stall when he roused from his sleep and came to investigate it. Sun was setting in the horizon mountains, some wildlife animals rest for the night while others soon awake by dusk. Most creatures, like predators, would earn this opportunity to hunt unsuspecting prey and sometimes at the human's barn. But now everything is strangely quiet all but one creature still roaming the forest. Rieka steadily trended through the vegetation in a quiet step keeping her ears up, normally she is use to roam by day to patrol the fencing lines that is just right next to the forest. Sometimes some coyotes or a fox would try and break in the barn or chicken coop, but Rieka was trained and breed to be smart and was waiting for the predator, or should she say victims, to fall by her fangs. At first her human Frieda was shocked and disagree of her actions when she found the bodies on her porch, but the girl let it go and managed to skin the predators for their pelts either to sale them or save them for incoming winter. A candy prairie dove stands on a cliffside, looking over the flowing water. It had been raining heavily for the passed few days. She frowns as she watches all sorts of dabris float around. Cars, boats, other things that the flood decided to take with it. She frowns as her fluffy tail swishes a bit. This was going to be difficult. The water surrounded her. If she did not have feathers or a fluffy tail, this would be easier. Though at some point, the water did slow and become more stagnant.
