I just spent 3 hours reading a 350+ page book, and I really enjoyed it? It’s called “See you at Harry’s” but just... the book shows you how much you should appreciate who you have and knowing that in a second, EVERYTHING can change and they can be gone. It was honestly... beautiful. Between the struggle of Fern (the main character) trying to get her gay brother to come out and not get bullied to her losing her little brother, it was full of detail and just, draws you in more? The one thing I didn’t like was the beginning. It was boring and had not that much significance that was noticeable to the story, making it like a loose end of string. If the death of Ferns younger brother, Charlie, had been from the sickness in the beginning plus him getting a blood clot from his fall, it would have tied up the loose end plus given a similar end.
Charlie’s an interesting character. The author portrays him as this annoying little brother but when he dies... you see what he really was. A gift.
Charlie was a ball of energy that helped the family and his death really shows how much of an impact he had on everyone, mainly Fern.
Honestly I really enjoyed the book, if anyone’s got any suggestions please give them to me?

You might like the Maximum Ride seriesby James Patterson (my personal fav) or Gracefully Grayson (also really good).
Maximum Ride is about these 6 kids with wings who can fly, and who are constantly on the run from the scientists that 'created' them, all while trying to figure out how they're supposed to save the world. (It's so good! I have all 8 books)
Gracefully Grayson is about a transgender kid in school who is terrified of coming out, and what would happen when she does. Kinda sad and agntsy, but gets better.

It's really good. I got it at target for $9-10. That was for the hardcover (paperback hadn't come out yet, I got it when it was a new release)
I'm sure you can find it at Barnes & Noble, but try buying it online. The online prices are almost always lower than the in-store prices.
