grievance and acceptance of the fallen twilight

they took from me my everything, they partook in

all i had to offer and yet i am relived, i am happy I

am ready to move on to see those who have passed

on before me and promised to wait for me on the

other side of immortality. as i had promised to join

them once this country no longer needed me to be

that guiding light to show them that they could have

what we shared and what allowed me to become the

beckon for all to see. But for right now i simply want

to sleep, to drift, to dream of all those, who were and

are my family who were taken long before me. So my

subject do not see this act as selfish or greedy but at

the same time understand my reasons and rhymes

like the sphinx if i must explain the rules to my word

play then there was no point in participating in this

game, that i finally have decided to opt out of not

because I am to weak to continue...no because I am

just to tired to play another round and see another

round of robins fly to be what they have aspired to

be only to leave me wondering, questioning when I

too will have my chance to be free, so to those who

shall watch over my successor, please bless her with

the fortune and understanding that every twilight

and sunset that falls into darkness a new day will

be waiting just beyond it.
