April 1983, a cult classic vampire film that was the directorial debut of Tony (brother of Ridley) Scott, based on the book by Whiitley Strieber. Scott would go on to make such blockbusters as Top Gun, The Last Boy Scout, True Romance and Crimson Tide. The Hunger’s opening credits famously feature a live performance by the band Bauhaus, who had only months before released their 7-inch of Bowie’s “Ziggy Stardust”.
