Sophie The Sobble

ALRIGHTY THEN! First Pokemon on my OC Sarah's OG team is her adorable lil starter and friend Sophie! Sophie the Sobble! She's the real OG on the team. 

My personal cannon is that Sarah always wanted to be a fire type trainer hence her current style but good ol hyper energetic Hop got his hands on the Fire Rabbit Scorbunny that was bouncing off the walls, which fit him perfectly, not wanting to be outdone by her friend/ rival she opted for the water type Sobble. And after a slightly awkward and hesitant meetup the two took on Hop's Scorbunny as their first real Pokemon battle! And from there the 2 have grown to trust in one another through thick and thin and have both grown in confidence and strength!
But they both look back fondly on the 2 excited nervous girls from Potswick.  

Real talk though Sobble is really fun to draw and I kind of wanted to do something different with mine cause I like facial expressions and Sobble is not exactly the most expressive Pokemon so I decided to use the lil color divot between her eyes as almost eyebrows! When she's sad or unsure she looks like a normal Sobble but when she's happy, confused, determined etc... her lil color divot moves to better reflect the emotion!
