The time has come to say goodbye and it's a surreal feeling 
Let's be honest this year sucked but we had an amazing thing happen 
2 goofballs that had a revolutionary idea 
For content, for retrospection
For comedy, for tragedy
For discovery, for familiarity 
For life, for... death

And we went right along with them, down the windiest road imaginable
with the sharpest twists and turns 
but with a very direct and certain end 
counting down on and on 
reminding us every end of every video
just how close we were 

and here we are hours away before everything is gone 
nothing left except the memories and the message 
Memento mori
Remember Death 
Cause it's coming for all of us one day
so we should make the absolute best of what we have 
while we have it

You never know when the end is coming 
but you're always certain that it is
so make the most of the life you have 
we all have a timer ticking ever down 
but don't fear it 
don't run from it 
It's just natural, just the way things are

So with a heavy heart, I bid adieu to the light in a very dark year
