Description

"For a few years now I have wanted nothing more than to be free," says Princess Rekta, staring at the moon.

From the dark Nathile quietly replies, "I know." placing a hand on Rekta's shoulder.

Rekta closes her eyes and slowly opens her mouth, "When you're little you think being a princess is so great. Until you realize..." *grabs at the air with one hand* "it snatches other dreams away." Lowering her hand back across her other arm.

A low rumble comes from the azurlligators chest.

"You know, Nathile, you have been the only one I can tell this." Rekta states with eyes wandering. "Mmmhmmm," Nathile confirms.
Rekta says softly, "While I suppose some can tell my reluctance lately. Just not admitting it to them."

Turning around looking at her tall, blue-scaled friend in the eyes. "I even tried escaping a few times... though no one noticed except you. Heh.. cause you even helped me once or twice. I cowered out of going through with it though," Rekta says with a whimper.

Nathile says with some reassurance, "You're my best friend after all. Even if it isn't best for the kingdom." *sticking his tongue out for a moment*

Princess Rekta replies waving her left hand, "Ya, ya I know. Yet it is not like my parents can't have another. They aren't THAT old."

Nathile puts both hands on the young red panda's shoulders and pulls her in for a hug, saying softly, "I will be behind whatever you choose. Regardless of the consequences."

The princess puts her arms around her large friend, pressing her leaking eyes against her friend replying with, "Thank you Nathile..."
