3 Cats - 10 Years old

Today they became 10 years old <3 As usual I continue the tradition to upload their birthday pictures! They got a nice meal with more treats than usual and they are now basically all snoozing because of the good meal hehe <3

Chaos
With Chaos it hasn't been easy sadly, we had hoped with one problem being under control that it would finally go better but sadly it didn't. We had complained to our vet about how long it takes for him to go potty and despite mentioning this a couple of years she never took the issue serious until it was to late. Since we are no vets and Chaos was eventually able to go we ofc had no idea what problem was starting to take place. Part of his intestine was slowly stretching out causing a pocket were waste would get stuck. The vet kept giving poor advice and medecine that wasn't working till one day she just said oh we have to empty the intestine without an explanation to why. When he got worse very quickly after that I was sick of it and changed vets looking up one that was known to be good with cats, they quickly were able to figure out the issue and explain to us how it could not be fixed either but they did have a treatment plan. They did first want us to try and change food, which I was nervous about due to his other condition and that worry was proven right when the other issue became a problem yet again. They realized their error but unlike the previous vets they were rlly doing all they could to find a way to manage it, as of now he gets a lot of medication but also a high dosis of a laxative to help him go and atm it is under control but it's really something we have to pay tons of attention to. I love my little boy and as long as we can stabilize the issue it should be fine.

Nisha
Nisha is probably the easiest to speak of as she has no health issues as of now and is perfectly fine. She does have a lower confidence especially in comparison to our other cat Nebby which I have to keep an eye on. But other than that she's for most part just fine and loves to cuddle in the morning especially <3

Asura
Her situation is a rollercoaster alright, last year she was diagnoses with an aggressive cancer, and was only given a couple of months with chemo and less without. Despite this Asura seems to be a little miracle as she has been around for more than a year now with this given condition without chemo and only medication on the smallest doze. Back then she was diagnoses in an animal hospital as our previous vet wasn't skilled in this (or anything seeing how she caused Chaos his issues to increase). Our new vet office however is completely confused with her still being fine as of now. So next month she is going on a new appointment for tests to see what is going on exactly, they told us with the diagnosis she was given she should have been dead. Now I am not complaining, and i'm very grateful to have her around still <3 Somewhere I hope they diagnosis is wrong, but this vet office said from the reports they read from the animal hospital that it did point to cancer so not sure what to think.

What I do know now however, is how happy I am we didn't go for chemo, i'm starting to believe that if we went with chemo she would have been dead by now. Not only is it possible that a cat takes poorly to chemo, but the stress alone would have been her downfall, hours of car driving every week etc, the one reason we decided not to go for chemo out of fear the treatment would take her life and now I almost feel like it could have...Seeing without chemo she is still with us. I love her a lot, honestly not looking forward to her appointment, but it has to be done to check. I hope to have her longer with me ofc
