WishfulGen: The Calm before the Storm

Flurry Heart had uncovered something intresting during one of her expeditions. Although others didn't think it was that special. A statue sculpted out of crystal with a peculiar heart shaped hole in the front. 

Flurry Heart always knew she was intrinsically tied to the crystal heart, ever since she "shattered" it when she was a infant and it was repaired through her crystalling. So maybe not just from simple intellectual curiosity but because of something greater the alicorn wanted to see how the statue would look if it was 'complete'.

Unearthed on that fateful day thousands of years ago was a magical block of crystal.
The crystal was sentient, could see, hear and feel things. But it could not move or speak. 

What it wanted more than anything else was to be alive and the powerful crystal did whatever it could to achieve this goal. It had no qualms manipulating others to get it.
But in the path of doing this, it had ‘split’ itself into two entities that could not be controlled.

The Crystal Heart had turned into the safety net for the entirety of the Crystal Empire. It fed off the love and light of the crystal ponies and in turn gave them food, warmth and shelter. It was sentient but it had no worldly desires.

The Crystal Statue though, had turned into a being of pure darkness and emptiness. It was filled with intense emotions and desires that someone who had been trapped in ice for thousands of years would have.

When they were combined, the crystal heart and the statue dissapeared all together in it's wake was a large unicorn, so close to a real pony yet distinctly not. Who had the magical powers of the crystal heart and the emotional intensity of the crystal statue.
But none of the thousands of years of knowledge and burdens that the heart or the statue had. It wasn't like 'amnesia' because that would imply the unicorn had tangible memories to speak of. The unicorn was something entirely new and therefore didn't have any memories of her own. 


But now the crystal heart is 'gone'. So is the safe guard that protected the Crystal Empre for thousands of years. It will only be a matter of time before the empire would be buried in snow. Not unless the recently awakened unicorn and the >>very introuble<< alicorn princess can figure out a way to fix it.

it took me a long time to post this, this is because I was so unsure on what name to call them(the unicorn), hopefully soon I can post her bio!!!!!
