WishfulGen: Blue Blood and his Sisters

this was a long time coming. A headcanon I had since the inception of this AU.

Blue Blood is the oldest child of a noble family directly related to one of the Founders of Equestria. With his immeasurable wealth and gifted privileges he is seen as a popular ladies man in Canterlot. But don’t be fooled, he is anything but princely.

He’s self obsessed, condescending and rude. The only thing grounding him is his younger sisters and the fact his father will take away his yearly allowance if he ever finds out Blue Blood was being rude to a woman. After he met Rarity, he never got the end of it. He got a job and was humbled straight after the gala. But that's a story for another time.

He’s the older brother to a quadruplet of sisters. Like any older bro to four talented mares; he's their biggest supporter. Although annoyed by them, he still finds time to be their supportive older sibling whenever the Quartet have fights.

The Harmony Sisters:

A quartet made up of 4 siblings. They’re famous for their lovely voices and their beauty. They got their start when they all got their cutiemarks at the same time when they were children. It was such a spectacle that they quickly were scouted for every celebration in Canterlot. One of their most famous gigs was singing for Twilight Sparkle’s coronation. Though admittedly they had no idea who she was beforehand. 

Ivory Soprano

she/her| aromantic bisexual
Nicknames: Ivy(family)

A dull witted mare whose sweet and friendly but also not one to let others trample on her mood.

She cares alot about her appearance as a symbol of her confidence and artistic self expression. She's the first person to try something new without caring about anyone's input. She went goth for three months because she felt like it.

She has a propensity to buy too many things she won't immediately need, which usually end with her sisters having to help her deep clean her room every couple of months.

Secret: You can get her into anything with the promise of free food.

Citrine Alto

she/her | lesbian
Nicknames: Rina(family)

A quiet and serious pony who creates and writes the songs she and her sisters sing. She's always firm and stubborn and doesn't like to change up things without days in advance. She's considered the "heart" of the Quartet because she easily and effortlessly helps her sisters shine when they're on the stage.

Citrine is the only sister in the group to attend college and obtain a PHD, she realized that she had a far greater passion in music after being away from her sisters for so long. Citrine decided instead of caving into pressure by her academic peers she'll continue pursuing a career with her sisters.

Before every show she gets her mind at ease by doing puzzles, like a crossword or a rubix cube. Something to get her focused and relaxed. 

Secret: Didn't believe dragons were real until she was 15. Too embarrassed to tell anyone.

Emerald Mezzo

she/her | bisexual
Nicknames: Mezzy(family)

Emerald takes one for the team and is the mare who helps maintain relations with rich Canterlot elites. She is also the one who promotes the group and does most of the paperwork. Because of this Emerald has two separate identities. The one where she's around her family and the one where she's around her possible money makers.

Emerald is honest, rude and condescending, she thinks she's smarter then she actually is and doesn't like to admit otherwise. However to the public she's considered mild mannered and a mature young woman.

Secret: Scared of riding trains and carriages.

Amethyst Bass

she/her | lesbian
Nicknames: Amy(family)

Considered the strongest and more energetic pony in the group. She maps out their workout regime and is also their dietician. Amethyst has a passion for cooking. She always makes "too much food" and hands out her cooking to her sisters, friends or just random people she likes.
Amethyst is very expressive in her emotions, unlike the reserved Citrine or the two faced Emerald; Amethyst wears her heart on her sleeve  and is often the one causing troubles for the Quartets reputation because of it.

When she was a kid she bullied the people she liked, but coupled with the fact that she's obtains crushes very easily; she bullied alot of people in preschool. 

Secret: Has never read a book in her life.
