Here's some character drawings of The Reine Alicorn and some info about her since I didn't really expand further on her character when I first drew her.
INFO:
The Reine Alicorn is the beautiful but unsettling leader of Skyros. While she is kind and gentle to her citizens, the people closest to her; her advisors and the royal sisters know she is actually very emotionally volatile and childish. When something threatens to disrupts her peaceful rule or even if someone so much as disagrees with her, the clouds around her mane begin to darken and rumble with lightning.
When Celestia was born, she was ecstatic to finally have another Celestial Alicorn in her kingdom and did her best to sponsor her education. However Celestia's mother was an Earth Alicorn. Alicorns who have always been the weakest alicorn in the kingdom because of their severed connection to the earth, the process of giving birth to two powerful alicorn children had worsened their mothers health until she inevitably passed away with the birth of Luna.
The Reine Alicorn took it upon herself to fully embrace them as her own children. Yet, try as she might, Celestia has never seen her as her new 'mother'.
