Yo, Raúl Vega, soy una persona con mentalidad abierta y con tendencia a apreciar y generar manifestaciones graficas y artísticas de carácter alternativo. Tengo aptitudes para tomar un tema y darle un tratamiento visual específico a la hora de reinventar o significar conceptos e imágenes ya existentes. Vengo del campo de las artes plásticas, manejando una serie de técnicas pictóricas que me han ayudado a desarrollar un estilo propio, por lo que mi orientación dentro del diseño va dirigida a la ilustración y la animación.

Mi estilo se alimenta de las fuentes del arte underground, el rock, el comic americano y japonés, el romanticismo, el arte renacentista y barroco, el pop art, la literatura de aventuras, ciencia ficción, suspenso y horror. Me considero una persona abierta a otras manifestaciones que puedan enriquecer mi producción y aprovechar cada experiencia y conocimiento adquirido como inspiración para mi obra.

No tengo idealismos, visiones o discriminaciones políticas, patrióticas, religiosas o étnicas en mí trabajo; son elementos que utilizo dada la necesidad, utilidad y aplicación que puedan tener. Me considero colaborador y generoso, si tengo la oportunidad de trabajar con colegas procuro hacerlo en la mayor armonía posible y esperando aprender y aportar como profesionales.

I, Raul Vega, I´ m a person with open mentality and tendency to appreciate and generate graphic and artistic manifestations of alternative character. I have aptitudes to take a subject and give it a specific visual treatment at the time of re-inventing or meaning already existing concepts and images.
I come from the plastic arts area, handling a series of pictorical techniques that have helped me to develop an own style, reason why my direction within the design goes directed to the illustration and the animation.
My style feeds on the sources of the art underground, the rock, comic American and Japanese, the romanticism, Renaissance Art and baroque, the pop art, the literature of adventures, sci fi, suspense and horror. I consider me an open-mind guy to other manifestations that can enrich my production and take advantage of each experience and acquired knowledge as inspiration for my work. I do not have idealisms, political, patriotic, religious or ethnic visions or discriminations in my work; these are elements that I use given the necessity, utility and application that can have. I consider collaborator and generous, if I have the opportunity to work with colleagues I try to do it in the greater possible harmony and hoping to learn and to contribute like professionals.
