Stamp: EaT oR sTaRvE

Love how when people talk about kids being picky about food, some idiot always has to chime in saying "Eat what's made, or you don't eat." "eat or starve" lmao, do you really think that is going to work on an actual picky eater? A few times when my step-grandpa would say that to me, I said "Fine by me. I'd rather go hungry than eat that gross food." I was like, 4-5 when I said that and didn't fully get that was wrong/rude to say, but I was dead serious.


Some people have sensory issues regarding taste, and others have digestive problems or allergies. You really think this gonna work? I have misophonia, certain noises straight up physically hurt. Feels like needles are stabbing my ears, or someone is taking a hammer and chipper to my skull. I imagine with people who have sensory issues with taste, digestive problems or allergies it's the same (although food allergies can be straight up deadly). So pretty much, eat something that hurts -possibly kills- you, or don't eat. Gee, wonder what they're gonna choose  

Funny thing is I know lots of people (of all ages) who had parents who would make them something else if they didn't like what was for dinner, and they're not picky at all.


I also love how these types (from my experience) are the ones that preach how; 
"Fed is expected, formula is okay, breast is best" because NuTrIeNtS 
How bad fast food and cheap food is because lack of NuTrIeNtS 
Then say how picky eaters can just starve, depriving them of the nutrients that they claim to worship. Wow it's almost like these people are more concerned with controlling other people's bodies than they are anything else 🤔
