Centurions on the Hunt

Unleashed for the first time in their existence, a fireteam of CENTURION super soldiers from the 1st Centurion Battalion search for human survivors and Covenant forces in the war-torn city of Ardelean. The city was one of the first hit by the Covenant assault on Ludogorie, alongside the capital Sofiyagrad. With the planet in the midst of winter and Covenant warships glassing parts of the planet, the sky has become choked with clouds and debris, further dropping the bitterly cold temperatures and leading to an almost constant snowfall. The Centurions would find few survivors of the onslaught, but plenty of Covenant to enact vengeance upon. 

The Centurions are the CMA's answer to the Spartan Program, essentially a continuation and evolution of the original ORION-I Program. Lacking the extensive and dangerous augmentations of the Spartan-IIs but making up for it with a cheaper development cost per Centurion and their sheer numbers, bolstered with augmentations perfected from leaked documents from the Spartan-III program (Curtesy of the GHOST Incident) and with refined instincts and skills from the veteran soldiers that make up the Centurions' ranks. All of which hail largely from the various Special Forces elements present on Ludogorie. When the Battle of Ludogorie began, the CMA had some 600 Centurions at their disposal. The culmination of nearly 5 years of work by the CENTURION Program. By the end of the battle, the Visok Evacuation Fleet would depart with some 450 Centurions, over 40 of which would defect back to the UNSC by fleeing with the remnants of the UNSC loyalists on the planet.

Some more artwork of the Centurions finally being done. Been meaning to have some more of these 'baby-spartans' done but of course there's so much to do. Such is life, I suppose. Hopefully I'll be able to do some more soon, especially since it's my birthday month and all.
