For those who don't know, I've had some more mental health, existential problems. I have recently undertaken a rather significant lifestyle overhaul of academics, multiple job rejections, birthday blues. I like to think my mind is still getting used to the change, which could be the culprit for my underachieving. Bear with me here... These past few years, my birthday feels like a reminder that I'm now one year closer to death and with nothing to show for my time here. Someday I will die—gone, and it'll be like I was never here at all. In the back burner, I've wished to have a memorable story, one that would live on even after I'm gone. I've always wanted to find a life-fulfilling foundation with my creative pursuits and something else. Yeah… it's hard to work on that when I get distracted by my recurring lack of motivation. It wouldn’t be a show of good sportsmanship to leave my birthday off on a depressing, existential note. So, there is one other thing I wanted to share. I am disappointed that I could not fulfill my New Year’s Resolution earlier in the year to produce more artwork; I had always planned for something special to upload on this day. Unfortunately, I can’t, but I suppose there is always next year. So stay tuned… I wanted to thank all my DeviantArt Watchers—active or not!
