This year, I lost 8 family members. 2 great-grandparents, 2 great-great-aunts, and the rest were cousins. Plus my dog and a stray cat my family was taking care of and planning to adopt. So needless to say there's a good reason I've been inactive. I just graduated from undergrad this month! Yay! Next step is to finish my thesis (it's already 60 pages and not even done, RIP... keep in mind this is an UNDERGRAD thesis, which are usually 10-20 pages. sue me). Hey all, whoever still listens to me ramble, I have some horrible news. My dog, Sadie, passed away Saturday morning, January 6. She's got a couple of pictures on here. She was a 12-year-old beago (beagle-golden retriever mix). Some of y'all might remember me talking about her. I got her when I was 7, back in 2005 -- she was just a puppy. Last Wednesday, she started getting violently sick. We rushed her to the vet. 3 days later, they diagnosed her with inoperable bladder cancer, so we made the decision to put her down. Oh jeez hello from the void. So much has happened in the last few years. I mostly use this site to kill time anymore, but may be using it more in the future -- I need to get better at drawing anatomy for my career so maybe expect some skulls and historic reproductions n' stuff. I'd love to learn how to colorize B&W photographs, maybe I'll do that. With my huge interest in genealogy, I've thought about restoring some ancient family photos (I'm talking Civil War Era) that were extracted from a shoebox in my grandma's bathroom last year.
