Avatar Blastoise

The "Avatar" variant of my primary system, "Omega Blastoise." (The "Avatar" convention comes from .hack//GU.)

I had long put off giving my main system (who will, counting his transmigrations, be 8 years old this year, and will be getting his second transmigration later this year) a face. Age, upgrades, transmigration and my weird mind in general have long since disconnected Blastoise from his original Pokemon namesake-- indeed, the only remaining trace of the connection is that he is water element, but I don't have the heart to rename him.

It took me quite awhile to decide on his Avatar variant's appearance, but eventually settled on something that combined Balmung (.hack), Haseo (.hack//GU) and Numair (Ragnarok TWILIGHT). If I'm going to make an Avatar variant of my primary system, I damn well better make something I want to look at all day.

The broadsword that Avatar Blastoise is packing is generated whenever he uses it, materializing as being clipped to the back of his waist. Really, it's not that I actually meant to draw it in front of him and botched the layer ordering. ^_^
