Appearance: Orin has dark skin, with pale white hair and cool blue eyes. Despite looking young, he has been alive for an incredible amount of time. Kree is a child in comparison to Orin. Orin dresses in plain unremarkable robes or clothes to blend in and go unnoticed among those within the Realms he visits. The word naga means "cobra" in Sanskrit. Orin’s human guise has a darker skin tone in order to match his elegant scales which are black with dark brown and blue hues blended in. Because Naga can appear as a deity or as a sub-species of dragon, they do not breathe fire or appear to possess wings, however they can fly.

The Contract
Anger roiled within her. Clothed from head to toe in black, dark waves of hair slapped along a bronze neck and back, as the wind surged and beat against the temple walls.
This was expected however as she had removed the chalice from its pool. A wellspring icy-cold in temperature, despite the sandy plains outside. Overhead a foreboding sky, heavy with rain and lightning was visible through the barred windows and ancient stone doors, which remained ajar.
The temple expanded through vast chambers and hallways made of stone, etched with marble and jade embellishments. Despite the heat outside, the sun failed to penetrate the inner walls. Ensuring a pleasant coolness remained in the air.
Gripping the heavy chalice in both hands and staring into its contents with a resigned stillness, she whispers an incantation of time and downs the liquid made red from her spell.

Role: Shaman/Safe keeper/Seeker of the Relics of the Gods - One has to understand shamanistic worldview, that the visible world is pervaded by invisible forces and/or spirits which affect the lives of the living, the elements and nature in general. Thus everything/anything either has, or has the potential to gain awareness or consciousness. There are several levels of existence, worlds and realms cut off from each other by barriers that the majority of beings cannot see or interact with. The world of the mortals is one of them. Orin, is a Master level Shaman and has few equals in this field.

Biography: Orin is a Naga — spirits classified as one of the eight classes of gods or as demi-gods. In myths, legends, scripture and folklore, the category naga comprises deities of the primal ocean and of mountain springs; also spirits of earth and the realm beneath it, and finally, Dragons. Naga possess a mortal guise as well as their serpent-form guise. These beings have their own perceptions of reality, nature, higher plaines of existence and are susceptible to suffering caused by mankind’s careless ways in relation to the environment or the destroying of places that they have made their residence. The expression of the Nagas’ discontent and agitation can be felt as various calamities and environmental catastrophes. Additionally Nagas can bestow various types of wealth, assure the fertility of environments as well as cause their decline if necessary in relation to being angry with humankind. Orin specifically cannot grant these things, partly because he is not residing within his original plain but also because those are not specifically his skills. Each Naga can possess different abilities. Orin is however filled with stories and tales from over his lifetime, also shares Zaliha’s solitary and private traits, although he likes people, he doesn’t really speak of his own people or of his home. He also outside of when it is necessary spends his time alone as an additional precaution against Visnamani targeting anyone else for its ownership.

A brilliant shaman of the master tier, Orin is unrivalled in his magical and sensory abilities, however along with this he possesses the sight of essence - an ability to see through the eyes and minds of anyone possessing essence of the living. Therefore he can converse with and use spirits as necessary through being a Shaman but he can equally gain knowledge in this before unknown way from the living. This is an ability of his species but it is one thought to have lost and it has been shaped and perfected over the numerous ages he has lived through. He can see an individuals secrets, strengths, weaknesses, their nature, memories and insecurities etc, if used all the time this sight can burn out the users eyes. Therefore Orin primarily uses his Shaman abilities unless it is crucially urgent to learn about an individual. For instance, if he sensed a great darkness inside of someone’s spirit or mind he might use it to determine what it is and how to fix or do something about it. He too can sense spirits and the spiritual energy that surrounds people that like him have special or unique talents.

This is what he sensed in Zaliha, the unusual spiritual energy she possessed and it is what allowed him to see within her, and drew him to help. He is also the one who, upon the loss of Zaliha’s memories and regression into a childlike state, took care of and tended to her well-being during this time. Immediately after it happened he erased her parents memories of her, in order to erase their pain and suffering. For five and a half years he patiently worked to teach Zaliha anew, along with helping her learn new skills, hobbies and practise the ones she had possesses originally in order to regain her fine motor skills. With these came new areas of interest under Orion’s guidance. Coming to love her like a child of his own, Orin gradually came to realise this sentiment existed within him and that it was unnatural to form a strong bond with any mortal being in such a way. Some things aren’t meant to be done by his kind, as all beings from within the mortal races elves, humans, dwarves etc live seemingly momentary existences in comparison to his kind.

Orin has the stone Visnamani, a gift bestowed upon the first Naga by the God’s according to legend. The stone works as a universal panacea/elixir and a bestower of Fortune. It can cure any illness or ailment, it can also disrupt the environment around it if desired, it can equally restore any naturally occurring spiritual or mental ailment that could afflict a person. Orin is uncertain if it would work for an unnatural spiritual or mental ailment. More powerful than this among the gifted relics is the stone Amritesh. Imbuing the possessor with god-like power and immortality upon obtaining it. Use of the Gods relics have dire consequences upon their inevitable loss. While you possess and use them, you will benefit from that power, however should one be stolen, misplaced, or claimed by another, then your life force and any power you may have will be absorbed into the relic and be added to it’s power. This is the inevitable side effect of possessing any such relic.

In other words it may not have worked for Zaliha but even if it were able to return her to normal and restore her memories, Orin would never use it, for he is the safe keeper of Visnamani which was entrusted into his care for this reason. As he has never used or tried to claim Visnamani’s power from the one who entrusted it to him, Orin would not be affected by Visnamani if it changed hands, no matter what. Understanding of the risk Visnamani and the other relics like it, pose to ones who unknowingly or even deliberately claim them, without being aware of the consequences of doing so, on top of the damage the wrong person could do, with a relic in their hands, Orin seeks a way to safely destroy all of the relics and prevent mortal kind from getting their hands on them ever again.

Disciplined enough to recognise that using such a power is dangerous, it is Zaliha’s near run-in with the stone which he interrupts, that causes him to disappear without warning. Visnamani became displeased at not having it’s owner close so it could use and drain on their power in order to feed off of them and grow stronger, for some years. Therefore it was calling out to Zaliha in attempts to draw her (as someone who has a strong magical ability) to it, in order for her to become Visnamani’s new owner so that it could then feed on the power and life force of it’s previous user, while also looking forward to absorbing Zaliha’s power and life force as well in time. Zaliha recalls this as just a momentary loss of concentration before she was snapped out of it by Orin, while it was a lot longer that she had been caught up in Visnamani’s trance like grip on her. Orin of course knew instantly that the stone was trying to claim her as it’s next owner, so this fuels his desire to destroy Visnamani and the others like it. This is why he leaves in order to find out how to destroy it, along with to keep her safe. Orin does not want to punish the current owner of Visnamani, so he seeks a way to destroy the relics without sacrificing the owner in the process. However if he were not able to do so, then Orin would destroy the relics regardless to spare mortal kind, further suffering.

Orin is calm and composed having seen and experienced much during his long life. Naga however can become quite malevolent and destructive if provoked to the degree that they truly lose their patience with someone or something. Naga originate from an otherworldly realm, one existing both underground and not at the same time. As trees and plants as well as great lakes and ocean exist within it. Palaces, in great spirals and towers dwell there made from the very stone itself, with gemstone ceilings and diamond dust falling when it snows. There exist great treasures and jewels, both precious and treacherous to any who would enter it unwelcome. Orin at his old age often finds himself homesick and longing to return but his duties lie outside of his home. Therefore he has not returned there in centuries. It takes a lot to raise Orin’s fury but the anger of a Naga is frightening to behold and never had Orin seemed more frighteningly uncontrolled then when Visnamani tried to claim Zaliha as it’s owner. In that moment a volcano on the eastern continent erupted in response. Orin travels there during his wanderings, to witness the results of his momentary lapse in control. Zaliha was momentarily frightened as well, for she had never seen him angry or upset before.

Powers and talents:

Ability: Nature communication  — The user can communicate with nature either telepathically, by speaking verbally, or by touching it physically. This can manifest literally, allowing one with this ability to become instantly familiar with their surroundings, talk to plants and tell them to grow, or discern events based on the movements of plants, animals, rocks and trees. This may allow the user to manipulate nature to a degree, such as talking to the sky to calm storms or invoking weather phenomena with their emotions (such as lightning if angry). Cannot turn it off.

Ability: Sight of Essence/Essence Sight: An ability to see through the eyes and minds of anyone possessing essence of the living. Therefore he can converse with and use spirits as necessary through being a Shaman but he can equally gain knowledge in this unseen before way from the living. This is an ability of his species and has been perfected over the numerous ages he has lived through and seen. He can see an individuals secrets, strengths, weaknesses, their nature, memories and insecurities etc, if used all the time this sight can burn out the users eyes. Therefore Orin primarily uses his Shaman abilities unless it is crucially urgent  to learn about an individual.

Ability: Shamanistic communication with spirits - A shaman is someone who has both the ability and training to perceive these spirits, and their effects on the world. As well as how to contact and manipulate them, whether it’s through bargaining, tricking, or forcing them to abide by the shaman's will. The Shaman’s main strengths lie in their ability to contact spirits and send their own, through the connection outside to roam the world or enter other plains of existence. By manipulating the spirit-world, shamans can direct a spirit's use of their abilities and powers to their own benefit, in many ways. There isn't much that a skilled shaman with patience and the right contacts in the spirit world, can't do. As long as they are willing to pay the price in return. Orin, is a Master level Shaman and has few equals in this field.

Ability: Shift into his true form - He is very strong in this form as he is very large and would tower over a person. Even in his mortal guise he is still surprisingly strong. His Naga form has teeth like a dragon rather than being like a snake and possessing fangs. As mentioned above he does not breathe fire, Naga can affect the environments and make them fertile or cause them to decline. They can also cause calamities in the mortal world out of deity like anger. Orin is more composed and less temperamental than others of his kind typically have been, however Naga have also been protectors that offer safe harbour to mortals in times of great danger, they have even been known to prevent catastrophes as well, so they are kind of a mixed bag.


Strengths:
- Magical abilities
- Sensory abilities
- Can communicate with nature and the environment he can also alter an environment for the better or worse if he wants to.
- A calm temperament and hard to provoke nature - though as mentioned previously when he is angered it is something you do not want to be on the wrong side of.
- Steel like determination to remove the relics entirely from the world.

Weaknesses:
- Zaliha - which is why he left her because of his attachment to her being unwise, but mostly because Visnamani was outright risking her safety.
- Concern over Visnamani’s previous owner and if he can find a way to spare them from being absorbed into the stone itself, along with the users and possessors of the other relics, who might inevitably share that same fate.
- Loneliness - Getting used to having another around though it was only a brief interval from his isolationist ways, doesn’t mean that he prefers being alone. It is simply safer to be alone.
- Those among mortal kind who could be drawn into attempting to claim Visnamani, by the stone itself much like it tried to do with Zaliha. That he wouldn’t want to harm them
- Contempt for those filled with greed and the desire for power.

Likes: Nature and the environment, patience, control, his home, education and studying to better ones self, mortal kind, people deserving and desiring to exist without the suffering the relics cause, mortals attempting to be humorous even if he doesn’t understand their humour.

Dislikes: Greedy or power hungry mortals, recklessness, destruction of environments and habitats (if he can sense or feel it then it will be remedied), violence for the most part (Orin of course recognises there are occasions where it is unavoidable, still he will attempt reconciliation or the peaceful way first. However he is very matter-of-fact and once his mind is set on accomplishing something, it is near impossible to change his mind, or divert his focus away from it), relics of the Gods,

Additional information:

Orin doesn’t really understand the humour of mortals (this would include all mortal races, and likely even the Fae he wouldn’t understand because they are all so different) however unlike Kree who takes a personal fascination to trying to understand and relate to the races younger and foreign to him. Orin does not try to relate to them, he is otherness incarnate. Instead Orin can accurately predict how a person will react in most given situations, without needing to rely on reading minds. Despite this however the mortal races are still alien and different to his. He views mortals with a clear empathetic, yet polite detachment. Which is something Zaliha seems to have inherited from him.

He grows a longer beard during his travels. Orin’s human guise is fixed as it appears here and cannot be changed outside of the usual alterations one makes to their appearance. He is also right handed.

Name: Zaliha Arteaeri Atruas (this profile is enormous) I also edited again ^^

Age: Twenty

Gender: Female

Appearance: Dark red hair, green eyes and narrow brows, a light dusting of freckles See Picture. Wears a long sleeved over-shirt in red with a black sleeveless undershirt, a cinched in vest of brown with red accents and green embroidery, her over-shirt has an leaf embroidery design lining the hem of her shirt and sleeves, in green. A wide belt in brown matches her lace-up breeches, and a pair of sturdy lace up ankle boots with a flat heel. Her hair is usually worn loose, unless she is travelling and she wears underclothes with her attire.

Role: Boundary Manipulator and Host Body- Discovered from a very early age that she was able to interact with all types of spirits in everyday life. Realising at age nine that she could assist others through communicating with spirits and allowing them to possess her as a host in order to resolve problems, seek advice from the spiritual plain, sense events or access visions from far away, while connected to them. Using their knowledge, talents, memories and skills to resolve or fix problems within the physical and spiritual plain that she couldn’t otherwise, by channeling them. There are considerable risks involved with doing this.

On occasion a spirit’s traits, memories, knowledge and talents have been known to bleed over into the host body. Remaining vigilant when channeling a particular spirit, she needs to become extremely focused. If this effect occurs, the particular trait or attribute taken on, will override something already existing within her. Therefore gaining something in an unnatural way from a spirit like this, means that you equally lose something valuable in return. There is no way of knowing what this will be, the gained attributes then become fixed to the host body, and once attached permanently they become a part of her identity. Which could create severe identity and personality issues as these lingering spiritual traces can risk overriding her own understanding of who she is. Yet, she is vigilant about spirits and somewhat fatalistic in her acceptance of the risks that come with her gift, if it means being able to help others.

At thirteen her memories of early life and childhood were erased, being replaced by those of a soldier, a spirit she met having been killed in the war he had lingered, wanting to be reunited one final time with his long-lost son before moving on. His family had gotten lost in all the chaos around them so time had passed, yet there he remained looking and waiting. Insistent upon helping, unfortunately the man’s spirit was allowed to reside within her body for a longer period of time than was safe or attempted previously. As a result the bleed over effect occurred by accident, obviously she had some idea that there might be a risk in doing so, but she was determined to help anyway. As a result the only memories of childhood Zaliha retained is being given the medallion pendant to wear by Orin, and why. This is because the pendant was resting against her skin at the time of the bleed over occurring, seeing the pendant is a type of ward connected to what she was doing at that time, she kept the memories with a strong connection to it and helping spirits, but everything outside of spiritual assistance and the medallion she has absolutely no recollection of.

Orin takes Zaliha with him, caring for and tending to her during this time. It is he who began the difficult task of rebuilding her and her capabilities from the base up. Having to relearn all of the self reliance, capability and independence anew, that she once possessed but no longer has. Essentially Zaliha reverts to a child-like state following the memory wipe. It takes an extensive amount of time to relearn it all, years in fact. With that, in time would come relearning how to read and write. It is Orin who teaches her anew, and then Kree later on who takes over her literacy. Which should make for starker scenes between Orin and Zaliha for a long time, before her recovery, while with Kree her scenes should be lighter as time passes. Upon Kree realising that she cannot read or write, though she may recognise basics thanks to Orin, he reacts essentially like ‘we need to fix this’.

While she is like ‘whyyyyy, Orin was always on my case about letters’.

Biography: Wilful, focused and often compelling, Zaliha with her unusual behaviours and strange gift originates from the same story and world as Kree. Discovered from an early age that she was able to interact with all types of spirits in everyday life. Zaliha is not a medium so this was initially very confusing for the spirits and her alike, as it shouldn’t be possible. From the time she learned how to walk, she has experienced strange occurrences and memories, believed to be dreams. Going in search of a specific location for no explainable reason, performing a trick or skill that she couldn’t remember learning, or continuously waking up in the middle of the street as though having sleepwalked or having teleported, to somewhere alone, no matter how many times her parents would securely lock the doors to their house. This was attributed to sleep walking, though it continued to cause endless panic for her parents. Later discovered that she had been entering the spirit world since childhood, by bringing down the barriers between the two realms without knowing it on account of her age at the time. As Zaliha continued growing through childhood these occurrences became more frequent.

Until Orin, a wise Shaman who is extremely gifted with the sight of spirits. Seemed able to sense the spirit’s and unusual energy surrounding her, just like it did him. Taking Zaliha aside in attempt to identify what was going on. It was he, who finally put a name to the strange occurrences plaguing her life until then. Identifying them as a side effect of powerful boundary manipulation into the spirit realm, which was quite shocking for a child to achieve. It was at this point that she finally understood all of those unsettling memories and unexplainable situations, were the result of spiritual possession. The Shaman, Orin, became a friend and a confidant who knew of her gift and who also gave to her a medallion to wear at all times, so that she might put a stop to these un-permitted possessions. She still wears it to this day, only taking it off when she needs to call a spirit. Orin is the one who initially takes care of her after the loss of her memories due to the bleed over effect, before he mysteriously disappeared, years later. Although initially freaked out, in time Zaliha came to understand that she had been given the ability to assist the living and the dead alike through communicating with these spirits and perhaps allowing them to use her body as a host.

From this too, she learned that other people found her unsettling. Toward the fears and concerns of anyone she cannot help Zaliha takes an indifferent stance. Viewing the rest of existence in a detached, observational way. Only stepping outside of what she knew, where able to ease the suffering of another person or resolve the business of a spirit. Zaliha since Orin left, spends her time alone or communicating with spirits. Therefore when it comes to anything outside of that particular interest she can appear to be arrogant, possessing a tin ear toward the feelings and worries of others. Zaliha recognises that people find her difficult to get to know, due to her being stubborn and focused on her intended purpose, though she cares little of this. Zaliha is also a wanderer, never staying in one place for long. Upon reaching the Crown City she encounters Kree, the Fae advisor to the Crown. Both individuals sense and interact with spirits just in different ways, and they take a very different stance and approach on whether or not interjecting into the personal life of an individual, spirit, or their family is the right thing to do, or not.

Zaliha with her - this is what I am good at, this is how I can help - view, approaches it with the desire to aid the lives of others. Kree, would like to do the same in a sense, by that I mean aiding in a non-reckless way. Due to the fact he is Fae and his personality is not a fractured combination of parts, forced together in one mind, Kree although he cannot identify the specific parts that have formed to become Zaliha now, he can still sense the unnaturalness in her spirit and recognises what it stems from. Kree sees it as reckless damaging of ones self.

Power: Boundary manipulation - The user can create, shape and manipulate boundaries — physical, material, spiritual, existential, conceptual and metaphysical.

Abilities:
- Boundary Perception - User is able to see any/all boundaries including the metaphysical boundaries and dimensional boundaries between worlds. With sufficient willpower, magic, experimentation or other means, a user can learn to bypass these boundaries, such as picking a flower in a dream and finding it in their hand upon awakening. Zaliha has been able to reach through them for a long time.

- Boundary Removal - User can remove boundaries dissolving/undoing difference/order/structures — material, spiritual, conceptual, metaphysical, etc.

- Boundary Restoration - User can restore boundaries, fixing all that has been crossed. This power is designed solely to counter other boundary manipulators.

Additional information: This bleed over effect had happened on six occasions so far, before the story begins. Four of these occurring, during her childhood before she even knew it was possible. Due to this she has obtained traits and skills from a few of the spirits she has been a host to. She is a decent but flawed person aiming to make a difference, her problem is partly that Zaliha is mortal so she hasn’t got the same perspective as someone long lived like Kree, who see’s the damage being done to herself as reckless and unnecessary. He doesn’t understand why she does this. That too is a flaw of his being long-lived, he can see her flaws as a mortal, and she can see the oversight and plain acceptance in him that comes with living for a long time and being used to the way things are. This is the reason I intended for them to cross paths and interact. Because their perspectives are entirely different and they need to experience viewpoints outside of their own.

Attributes gained from Spirits:

Obtained: Wilful trait (at five years old) — Having or showing a stubborn and determined intention to do as one wants, regardless of the consequences.
Gained from: The ghost of a small boy who sought her out in order to solve a problem for his left behind parents, after his death.

Obtained: Horse riding ability (at nine years old)
Gained from: Twofold from a girl in her hometown three months before she met Orin, who wanted to ride her beloved horses before moving on, as well as the solder furthering this ability by being able to ride well and being used to horses on a battlefield.
Replaced: Lost the ability to dance and be agile - she used to be super quick and flexible

Obtained: Memories of the solider (at thirteen years old) - Memories of battlefields, mud, dirt, the metallic taste of blood, comrades-in-arms, cries of alarm and screams of pain, muddy-earth stained red, horses, armour and the cloying stench of death all around. It’s terrible if focused on for too long. Also has the memories of the soldier’s son (who has grown since) as though he were he own child, although he clearly isn’t and has grown up over time, to her it feels like he is her son.
Gained from: A soldier in his thirty’s she met (at age 13), having been killed in the war he had lingered wanting to be reunited one last time  with his long-lost son before moving on, who he had lost track of on account of all the chaotic fighting. Insistent upon helping, the man’s spirit was allowed to reside within her body for a far longer period of time than had been done previously. As a result the bleed over effect occurred by accident, Zaliha knew that there was a risk of this happening but was determined to help regardless.
Replaced: All of her memories apart from receiving the medallion pendant and her ability to help and talk to spirits. Doesn’t recall anything else about her past, not even the city she lived in, it was merely a name given to her by Orin, but she recalls nothing about it.

Obtained: Unflinching trait (at eight years old) — Not showing fear or hesitation in the face of danger or difficulty.
Gained from: The ghost of an elderly matriarch who used her body temporarily to oversee her family during a crisis, following her death.

Received from: Former Knight commander
Replaced: Unknown thus far (it only just happened in the story) however it is likely to have been either memories, or important information about the internal workings of Crown City. Taking on another’s memories as seen in the previous page is problematic. However she was not host to him for very long, therefore she gained a particular set of memories specifically from him, and the rest were avoided so there’s no confusion of thinking of his family as her own, like there was the first time this occurred.

Obtained: One still undiscovered trait adopted in childhood, she’s not sure what it is or which spirit gave her the sixth piece. (occurred at age seven I can tell you)

Strengths:

- Dedicated
- Unattached to people in a familial sense - excluding Orin but she never discusses him with anyone in the Crown City, as it is a sensitive topic for her, so outside of inquiring in an evasive way for leads to his possible location and reason for disappearing, she would likely avoid the subject entirely. I guess she may gradually begin to confide in Kree a little, seeing she brings Orin up for the first time, when the subject of teaching her to read and write is mentioned, but it could also have been a slip of the tongue.
- Zaliha is mostly indifferent to what other people might think of her. Because a lot of her personality is makeshift and still being rebuilt, it is her gift being questioned or someone insulting Orin that she would most likely take offence to.

Weaknesses:
- Possesses little to no familial attachments - this I look at as both a strength and a great weakness depending on how one views it. Also she does have Orin as a connection, and is sort of lying to herself I guess about not needing anyone.
- Becomes defensive if people question her gift.
- Finds it difficult to settle down or stay in one place.
- Orin primarily is her great weakness - she wants to know what happened to him and why did he just disappear like that. Zaliha refuses to believe that he is dead and she is also deeply hurt that he left without a word to her. Seeing he became all that she had known in life after the loss of her memories.

Likes: Winter, spirits, flowers, Orin, Kree (she enjoys annoying him), spirit realm, snow globes (had no idea what they even were before Kree showed her one, she secretly likes them but pretends not use to frustrate him further)

Dislikes: fire, being surrounded by people (hence why she keeps to herself for the most part), not knowing what happened to Orin, dislikes snow globes (supposedly ^^) people dismissing her gift or telling her to quit using it.

This is the complete profile of Zaliha ^^ she may still be subject to minor changes, still this is her character and central components fully fleshed out and as a main POV character I hope you guys enjoyed reading about her. I will likely write up her encounter and interaction with those six spirits at some point. This Character Profile has taken an exhausting amount of time, in fact days and days of constant writing, rewriting, dissecting and editing have gone into this and I’m still not 100% satisfied. However I felt that I wouldn’t upload it at all, if I did not settle on the parts that I am unhappy with. Thus I upload all of this and wash my hands of it.

My next character profile will be on Orin, who is also going to be very detailed seeing how old he is and the life he has lived, so it might take me a while to get it all written up and complete. Especially to the stage that I am happy with it, so what I’m saying is bare with me, I guess ^^ for it is coming.
Name: Kreolm Asophn -  Kree informally to most people

Age: Five hundred

Gender: Male

Appearance: Dark hair that sticks up in places, white skin (like proper white not human white skin), silver eyes, two thin scars across his brow on the left side. Has a sharp chin and jawline. He wears a light shawl, a robe with leather supports and a plated paneling to provide protection. It is made of fine cloth from his homeland and is sewn and held together with durable stitching. Kree wears a defensive brace on each arm with steel accents, as well as breeches with a raised edge of steel accents on the seam, so it looks tidy and defenceless through these protections being blended and woven into his peoples clothing, along with a pair of durable boots.

Basically he looks defenceless if he struck you with a decent knee, unless you were wearing mail to protect yourself, you’d be in a bad spot. All of his people wear this type of material for added protection, also they are more advanced than their mortal race counterparts. On top of this he takes additional precaution because while he does have the ability to sense a person’s spirit and as such can sense their movement and location in relation to his own if they are within several metres of him, he isn’t infallible and could misjudge or mistime something which would inevitably lead to injury. Carries around two dirks on him and a double bladed dagger.

Race: Fae - They are humanoid in appearance, their skin colours range from blue to green or white, they have elongated fingers and toe, ears sort of like bats and they have eyes that gleam and vary in colour between nature hues. As mentioned some can grow wings or horns and others don’t. Kree doesn’t have either.

Role: Spiritual Guide/Empath - Also formerly an advisor within the Crown City.
He can take on the form of a raven that can interact and travel within the spiritual plain and communicate with others over long distances or gather information from spirits within that plain. Strong enough in this that Kree could read and influence the mind’s of those he interacts with among the mortal races. However the use of Fae abilities to potentially influence the mortal realms both positively and negatively, is a forbidden practice, punishable by way of banishment, by his kind. Being within the spiritual plain and interacting with others is a draining experience that burns progressively through his reserves of energy.

Kree is initially sent to Crown City as an Advisor and go between for their races diplomatically. Kree is an oddity, possessing magic unrelated to nature, blessings, enchantments, or curses. Instead Kree’s magic is about detecting and connecting to the spiritual essence of the living. His Fae form was born blind making his eyes a completely distorted white in colour. It is a grievous error to mistake him for an easy target however, because Kree can detect the spiritual energy of the living, he can also detect where a person is in relation to himself and sense their movement and while he cannot swing a heavy sword or string a bow. He is an expert dodger and striker, based purely on countering and stealth attacks from a defensive position. He is not aggressive, preferring to meditate and commune within the spiritual plain, he will never initiate a fight.

Biography: The Fae have only recently opened their doors to interact with the mortal races diplomatically. Which was a vast shift in their behaviour, being known to shun outside influences. Why they have made the decision to now engage with mortal races was not divulged to Kree, he is merely the one tasked as direct Advisor to the Lyirdaine Crown, whilst being unaware of what is going on. He assumes that they have reasons for doing so and intends to fulfil his obligation and duty. Outside of purely advising or providing communication between them, he is forbidden from interacting in ways that might affect the realm he is service to, if it could potentially break Fae rules about their powers and direct intervention. Unlike humans, Fae aren’t born to a specific family. Fae live collectively and communally in their closed off realms, they form strong bonds and any potential conflicts that arise can risk tearing your beloved family apart thus few ever stray from their Fae home or ways. They are a reclusive people possessing a ‘we offer communication, advice and lore to you’ but outside of that we will have little if anything to do with one another. They are quite stand-offish,  and will never support or stand against anyone in a conflict. Outside of their advisor they rarely interact with mortals, a great many of them dislike that they entered into communications with the mortal races but the ones in support of it are a strong faction as well, this is our status at the beginning of the story.

Kree enters initially accepting of this ruling, despite being a very curious Fae. Possessing spiritual and empathic strengths, he is one who likes interacting with, as well as studying the numerous mortal races during his time residing in the Crown city. There are different types of Fae, some have wings, others have horns and then there are those who do not sprout any obvious telltale features at all. There are also other Citadel’s of Fae, hidden across the planet. Each Citadel answers to a council of elders who operate in accord with the Empress, who reigns over them.

Kree’s journey involves an internal struggle and the level of involvement he can actually have within events taking place. Through fear of being cast out and rejected by his own. Even due to his wanting to help, which creates a cognitive dissonance between Kree as an individual, making choices and his innate identity as a Fae. Because Kree is a morally good character, he is always wanting to do the right thing. Yet, does this necessarily have to mean stepping in for those who aren’t of his people and being expelled from his own home for his efforts. Or should he continue walking that fine line of non-intervention, as things begin descending into chaos around him. It is a hard decision for him to make yet faced with this dilemma he has to make it regardless and live with the consequences, along with the vilified disgust he is then forever tainted and marked by. Clearly the rules exist for a reason. Although none outside of the Council and the Empress know exactly what happened in that case. Being strongly in favour of not abusing Fae abilities in order to control or negatively affect mortals at the beginning, Kree refuses to consider influencing anyone’s mind, despite becoming an outcast among his people, he still holds certain ideals and beliefs that align with theirs. Whether that will change or not throughout his journey or not I cannot say.

Strengths:

Weakness:
- Unwilling to break or go against the rules that were established by his people.
- Struggles with the restrictions that are placed on his ability to help by adhering to those very same rules.
- Doesn’t have a great deal of defence so that if he takes a hit, he goes down fast.
- Being used to obtaining answers through his power, he can become impatient regarding information if it is something he cannot obtain through the usual means, especially if he has to wait for it.
- He is quite gullible, being naive in the ways of mortals as despite his being around for a while, they can still surprise or outwit him in the event that he tries to show leniency or feels empathy for an individual’s plight - for instance a beggar or a pickpocket would con him very easily.

Likes: Nature, Fae, open spaces, spiritual plains, meditation, fruit, medallions, enchanted snow globes (it’s a long story and one he’d be embarrassed to share), snow, rain, trees

Dislikes: War, misfortune, poverty, supremacy, fire, being trapped beneath ground (happened once and he got stuck for a little over a decade which made him quite resentful towards enclosed spaces), violence.

This is my latest character who is a secondary character early initally and grows to be a main character as the story progresses. Also as you can see he’s a little gullible and indecisive prior to his breaking of the rules.

Additionally - I know nothing about Fae or their magic and lore I just made this up as I was turning over ideas in my head and the story formed. Obviously this isn’t the central focus character but I enjoyed exploring one who grows to become important. The central conflict is alluded too, but not meant to be the focus on this page. Soooo, yeah if it’s horrifically wrong, that’s why. Also I don’t mind if the lore is wrong as it is fun to make something up inside your head.

Additional ++ - This is the first profile in a long list of them but this one and the next two (which are very long and detailed) contain the main characters but there are thirteen more to come from this same project. It will be obvious why upon reading the next two profiles why there are more to come.
Name: Isaloré Zohi Yaefal

Age: 16

Small Bio: Pretty, charismatic, and measured when it comes to temper tantrums or outbursts, Isaloré rarely ever lets her anger or disappointment show. She is also slightly vain, with a selfish streak. Isaloré grew up with parents who loved her, yet also controlled, and protected her wellbeing and development as a fledgling vampire. Taking a no-nonsense attitude toward the responsibilities that came with having a vampire daughter that followed in their footsteps. Knowing the risks Isaloré could pose to others, and would equally be exposing herself to. Therefore despite some questionable traits at her young age, Isaloré takes seriously any events that could happen around her, or because of her, when it comes to potentially endangering mortals or hybrids. Brought up as an only child, Isaloré has no knowledge of her twins existence, as they were separated for her sister’s safety. After her hybrid sister was fed on and nearly killed as a very young child. Producing the ugly scar on her sister’s neck, that remains to this day. This happened at such a young age that her memories had faded entirely, occasionally she would experience an odd feeling, or the stirring of a memory that unsettled her as though something was missing. Otherwise she is completely unaffected, and it isn’t until they wind up meeting each other in this RP that their shared family and past is uncovered upon discovering each other’s existence.

Role: Vampire

Powers: Flight, can shape-shift and take on the appearance of other people (but not an animal guise) has the Vampiric ability to lure mortals and hybrids into being her friend, or doing things for her (she cannot enslave, and the effects only last while in her immediate presence and fade as soon as the person is away from her). Survives on the blood of hybrids, becomes stronger and harder to kill, immediately after feeding, though it wares off quickly with time.

Appearance: Stark black hair, alabaster skin, green eyes, has a slightly more supernatural look to her appearance due to being a full vampire, so her eyes have an eerie glow, and her skin seems to emit a refined, coldness. Has a pair of pale white earrings that she favours wearing. Favours red lipsticks, and red nail polish.

Dislikes: daylight, the sun, fire, holy places, being ignored, people throwing tantrums, over exposure to sunlight can seriously weaken her, and cause her vampiric abilities to stop working altogether. If exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period of time she will require hybrid blood to feed on, in order to regain her mobility and powers once more.

Real name: Viinaya Milyna Yaefal

Age: 16

Small Bio: Has a more mortal looking appearance to her eyes and skin then her sister. Being independent, calm, and focused Lia is equally unaware that she has a twin. Solitary in nature, and having become somewhat jaded by past experiences, makes it difficult for her to trust. Lia is more distant than Isaloré making her reactions to a situation, a lot harder to predict. Grew up in a foster family, after her near death at the hands of Isaloré, who as a vampire went crazy when Lia injured herself as a young child. Although her childhood was relatively lonely, seeing she spent much of it raising herself due to her parents constantly working in order to make ends meet. It was still a peaceful household, one she was glad to grow up in. Has no memories of her original family, her foster parents however were killed in a train crash (the same train crash that Lysivonine caused with her probability power in a different story). Also experienced the odd feeling that something was missing over the years, this feeling faded with her foster parents death, she has one foster brother still alive and well who she sees a few times a year. Has an ugly scar running along the side of her neck that she can’t remember where it came from.

Powers: She is far stronger than a regular human, is also able to run faster, and can withstand greater damage or injuries without dying.

These two serve little purpose but I hadn’t uploaded anything lately and I felt an urge to do so. I wrote these two from a momentary side idea that I had to a one off suggestion someone had for me. 

Name: Katherine - AKA Kitty- Last name not disclosed

Age: Fifteen

Gender: Female

Physical Description: Auburn brown hair, tied back to avoid getting in the way during a fight, with sharp bangs falling haphazardly about her face, has light olive skin with slim features, vivid green eyes, and a small statured build. Dresses in a sky blue over-shirt, white underclothes and brown trousers with a brown belt at her waist, and weather worn boots.

Weapons: Daggers, knives, and small swords or blades

Role Description: Rebellion Agent/Smuggler in training

Biography: Rebellion Agent/Smuggler in training - Kitty works within the Rebellion, having grown up on the inside of it, she passes information between the rebellion, various parties and their representatives that are well hidden within the cities she frequented, as instructed. Kitty was specifically chosen for the assignment due to her intuitive sense, agile and quick footed skill, along with her childlike, youthful appearance. Kitty grew up within the organisation for her parents were supposedly both members of the Rebellion, or so they had told her. This meant she knew how to fight, although she has never killed anyone. Many agents had given their lives for the Rebellion over the years, including her own parents. This is something those within the Rebellion had initially hidden from her, before reluctantly disclosing it to her. Kitty was apparently present at the time when they had been attacked, only because she had been so very young at the time she remembered nothing of it. Kitty having been wounded as well in the skirmish, had been left on the floor to die too along with both of her parents, and would have done just that. If it weren’t for the two Rebellion agents, who had rescued and smuggled her out to safety, both saving her life and then nursing her back to health. Upon returning to the Rebellion, they had presented her to the group who claimed her as their own and gladly welcomed her with open arms as well the eventual explanations for what had happened to her family, upon her reaching an appropriate age to know.

In reality Kitty was not born to a set of Rebellion parents but in fact into the Royal Line of their great adversary’s. Which also would place her next in line to the throne after KyennaIsai Otaivon (through the Andalis line) and would make them directly related by blood. It was actually a set of Rebellion agents who had killed her parents and equally would have left her to die with them, if not for the two who having a particular soft spot for children, and having recently lost a child to miscarriage, couldn’t bring themselves to put an end to the child’s life. They instead had saved her from death, while Kitty who was far too young to remember these circumstances, grew up with the Rebellion agents as a community of adults who cared about her, but those two in particular she looked at as being her parents also. Kitty had dreamt of the tale, and of her parents final moments so many times. Trying to picture their killers, wondering whether they were still out there and if she might meet them face to face one day. Instead focusing on the dream they had supposedly given their lives for, desiring more than anything to make it a reality. These thoughts were constantly running through her mind whenever she trained and as she grew strong, determined to bring about her parents supposed goal. This is why the Rebellion’s betrayal towards her is so utterly devastating, because everything that she has known and trusted throughout her young life, has been ripped away from her and revealed to be a lie. She loved her Rebellion family so deeply and unconditionally that the sting of their deception is earth shattering in nature to her. The Rebellion intend to use her against her own blood, and have her die afterwards. Upon discovering this, it is still less devastating and painful to her in a sense, than being deceived into loving the very ones who had killed her parents. It brings her so much anger and rage to discover the truth and leads to Kitty questioning her ability to trust at all.

Upon her initial discovery that Ulias was completely indifferent to the Rebellion and their plight Kitty reacts strongly, angered beyond reason when he is unmoved by the Rebellion’s requests for him to take up the fight and join them fully. She was furious that one who has so much power compared to her, would do little to aid their cause. Ulias thought of her as having been brainwashed, and used to fight a battle her parents had decided she should continue in their place. He has no idea what is actually going on, and no reason to suspect the Rebellion initially, as he doesn’t properly know them, well enough. He can just feel that something isn’t right upon being among them. They seemed uneasy with the continued interactions between him and  Kitty attempting to discourage this. He is quite incredulous upon learning the truth and outright prevented them from having an opportunity to hurt Kitty, seeing he had taken her and escaped before the truth is fully uncovered. Feeling tied to Kitty, Ulias wants her to have a far healthier existence, one of her own making. Only Kitty is determined to fight for the Rebellion no matter what. He didn’t care for them overly much, or the Crown’s forces, but knew that he’d likely stay to help her. This is why he goads Kitty, questioning her reasoning and motives. Causing Kitty to experience doubt and also ask questions for the first time in her life, always having acted for the Rebellions best interests, and living for the sake of her parents goal, rather than for herself. Kitty is forced to weigh up these questions, and Ulias in attempting to sever the hold the Rebellion has on her, ends up unknowingly saving her life in the process and showing her a different way. For she had been shaped into thinking that she needed to fight and die for the Rebellion all this time. Which if they had their way, she would be doing. Kitty initially finds this self determination attitude selfish, as it’s completely foreign to all that she has known. Yet comes to also adopt it in time, as all of the doubts that had risen up inside her and had taken a backseat upon being challenged by Ulias, had still been outweighed at that time by the fate of her parents, and her desire to achieve their goal, but now they were free to manifest and rise to the surface. Having been unable to come up with an alternative he and Estelle had ended up stealing Kitty much to her disgust, in order to keep her safe and in the process had taught her how to live, as she would gradually come to learn the truth, and when upon learning it all, the results of it were anything but pleasant.

- Has spent her life in constant survival mode, so that she cannot switch it off anymore.
- Begins to doubt her purpose and reasons for fighting.
- Her young age and small size, is a liability as much as it is a benefit for the objective she was given by the Rebellion, seeing she can be overpowered or physically bested quite easily.
