Friends. I've missed you! :hug:
A little update on what I've been up to, in deviation form.
Gained a new kitty, Cora.
Most of the time, she looks angry at me.
Traveled to New Zealand
But most recently, and most importantly, I've been kind of obsessed with Breath of the Wild.
What have you guys been up to? :D
Because I love a good meme. #WatchForever
(In no particular order -- stream o' consciousness style.)
AND SO MANY OTHERS. I have so many people I like. ;_;
First order of business! LaurenKitsune (https://www.deviantart.com/laurenkitsune) and bradleysays (https://www.deviantart.com/bradleysays) tagged me in this wonderful meme, and if there's one thing I like, it's a good meme.
Second, my friend Anna is getting married in August! It's a joyous time, and as maid of honor, I'm doing everything possible to help her have a perfect day. She's currently having some trouble finding a photographer for the wedding, and what better place to look than good ol' deviantART! :) So, if you know of a photographer in/around Erie, PA, please let me know!
On with the questions!
1.) Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4.

One of my favorite time periods to study is the Revolutionary War and the founding of the United States. I'm sure this is mostly because I'm American, and I really loved my American history teacher in high school.
But it also fascinated me how these handful of guys worked together to come up with a Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and an entire structure for running a country that has stood the test of time, though certainly isn't perfect.
I did my senior year term paper on Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of Treasury, mainly because I wanted to focus on someone who was instrumental, but perhaps an unsung hero. In doing so,
Let's learn about ourselves and others. :dummy:
- Read the three statements below about me and comment with which one you think is the lie.
- Then, post 3 statements about yourself in a comment to this journal, 2 of which are true and one of which is a lie. I'll reply back and guess which one it is!
Which is the lie?
1) I used to wear braces as a kid.
2) I have my motorcycle license.
3) I am a Citizen Arborist.
Comment with which one you think is the lie! Make sure to guess before you read the comments, because there will likely be spoilers. :lol:
Then, post three statements yourself, and I'll guess your lie. :la:
1. You must post these rules What rules? :slow:
1. Your TO DO-list at the moment?
- A shower mostly. I should write some emails, buuut I'll probably just More Like This for awhile. :meow:
2. Define art.
- Pop culture was in art, now art's in pop culture in me.
3. What style you draw the most?
- Clouds and trees. Does that count?
4. Weekend plans?
- Hopefully hit the beach for some boogie boarding! :D Sunday is my boyfriend's birthday, and I'm planning on taking him to the super weird museums around us, like the Museum of Jurassic Technology and the Museum for Land Use Interpretation. :lol:
5. What was the name of your
In fact, I'm feeling a little ticked off. :giggle:
Yep, the day is finally here. My part-time gig with deviantART has ended, so I'm back to being a regular deviant. ;) I have to say it's a little strange to see. My 'A' looks so lonely. ;_;
I'm off the staff, but still around. In fact, I was helping my Mom pick out prints to purchase for my old room, since she recently did some renovations on the house, and now we need to fill the walls with some beautiful art. It was so addicting trying to find the perfect pieces. But, I think we made a good choice, getting some bird prints for my nature-themed room by clippercarrillo (https://www.deviantart.com/clippercarrillo). :love:
...accompanied by Capri Sun. Because I'm an adult! :shakefish:
Anyway, hi. It's been awhile. How are you? I've been lurking around but time's been pretty limited to do much more. I've learned that I watch way too many people. :B When I was on deviantART 24/7, I could manage my Message Center. I think it's time to make some (tough) cuts. ;_;
Things at JibJab have been good! It's actually full of artists on staff who create all the original content for both JibJab and StoryBots. I get to interview the artists about their process and generally silly questions to write up in their blog. That's only a small portion of what my day consists of, bu
Edit: We have our winners!
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the first ever :devpremiummembers: v. deviant365 (https://www.deviantart.com/deviant365) Olympics! The final decision of who won is still to be decided, but I can say that Premium Members gave a tough fight. Great job everyone! :strong:
Our winners are:
And, special congratulations to these deviants who found mo
Awesome job so far, guys! We've had two Premium Members correctly find two of the pieces so far. There's still an opportunity to win 400 Points by searching for the first piece, or try your luck at finding the next piece using the clue below! Remember, you're looking for a puzzle-piece shaped clue, hidden by the deviant who corresponds to the clue. If you think you know the deviant, search their entire profile and see if you can spot it!
A deviation has been stolen from the Sta.sh archives of deviantART, and both :devPremiumMembers: and deviant365 (https://www.deviantart.com/deviant365) are racing to find all three pieces to bring it back together! Whichever team creates the
