Description
As I already said, the Demon King of Nanatsu no Taizai seems like an empty villain to me, to the point that he doesn't even have a proper name but rather a title as generic as his personality. Although Mundus is not a very complex villain, his story is much better, being a lord of hell whose war to conquer humanity left him locked up, having to act through others like Trish or Nelo Angelo to fulfill his goal of escaping, although it is true that the demons in 7DS do something similar through Dreyfus and Hendrickson, this was the work of Fraudin and not the Demon King, so if it were not for his lackey the latter would have simply remained in purgatory.
So Mundus will be the one to take his place, both to face Dante and the Deadly Sins, while controlling a fraction of the demons of hell.
