The story takes place in the present time in a world similar to our own in Japan, but not quite. In the outskirts of a big populated city, Barahime Gakkou is a fancy and prestigious school for both genders, Lower and Upper Secondary School (Chūgakkō and Kōkō - 3 years each), ages: 12~18, also where most magical girls are born from.
