**FOLDER/GALLERY NAME UPDATE**
I have already updated the gallery folders to “2016” in readiness for the new year.  Yes, submit to these folders! 

New Gallery Contributors!!  
In the interest of the continual growth and evolution of the group I will begin requesting Gallery Contributors.  Those requested have proven they have work of a consistent high standard, and are able to submit to the correct folder.  Contributors have no administration duties, and their works will automatically be approved.  

Call for Co-Founders!!
Commencing 2016 I will have full time commitments elsewhere, this may impact the group - possibly meaning less Member Features and slower Gallery Approvals.  Currently, approvals are processed within a 12 hour period- usually less. I would like to keep it this way.  I would love to hear from members that have an interest in assisting with the running of the group! Thanks

I have once again posted submission rules below for those that need clarification


**General submission rules:**


*Gallery Folders*

FEATURED: The Featured Gallery is by invitation only.  This is to highlight our best work and show the world the benchmark of awesomeness that we have! Submissions directly to this folder will be declined.  Inclusion to the Featured Gallery is at moderator discretion.

"2016 GALLERIES":  Are our recent works/submissions.  Please submit your work to the folder of that works 'medium'.  With the exception of photography, gallery folders are now not sorted by 'subject'.  This is to simplify the submission process.  If your works are submitted to the incorrect folder, they will be declined.
Photography is the highest volume medium, and therefore has been separated into three categories - "Nudes": Images containing any degree of nudity,  "Portraits": Any depiction of the human form from any category (eg. Horror, glamour, fashion etc) and "Other": This also covers a large scope of categories including but not limited to landscapes, flora, fauna, food etc.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE FEATURED GALLERY YOU MUST SUBMIT TO THE CORRECT 2015 FOLDER!

"CLOSED" Galleries: Are sorted in the same order as the 2015 Galleries.  These folders contain works dating back to 5 years ago.  They are still open to submission, and will remain that way until the folders are full and can no longer be submitted to by default.  If you do submit to these galleries - please note that your work will not be considered for inclusion in the Featured Gallery.

SUBMISSIONS: Are reviewed and subject to moderator vote.  Images submitted to either the incorrect folder or the Featured folder will be automatically declined.  Prior to approval to the group, all images will be briefly assessed for quality and artistic merit.  Traditional artists please note - that image quality will effect the decision as to whether your work is accepted.  Out of focus, poorly lit images of your work will be declined - even if the actual work is great.  

To prevent spammers and multiple images from the one set - submissions are now limited to one image per day.
