A lot of things around here are still done by hand, there are few automated machines doing the heavy stuff because China's labor force is massive and cheap. Buildings are taken apart one brick at a time with an army of people armed with hammers, trucks get dangerously overloaded with goods and people who will work for less then a hundred dollars a month are many.
