1) Try to have high quality work. 2) Place the jets over a background -- not a white page. 3) Do not submit to the favourites section. Use featured gallery. 3) No pencil drawings. 4) No helicopters 5) No propeller planes. 6) Must have a jet in it somewhere. 7) No photographs of jets photoshopped over a new background. Most of that would be photography, not art. 8) Nothing by DistantStar please.
Thanks to all who submitted. While the judging here is tough, thanks to all those who continued to submit after being rejected, instead of quitting the group. While everyone is free to quit, the best way to handle rejection is to come back with even better entries at a later date. Thanks!
Custom jobs are fine. However, the judges here are really tough (and kind of mean). They only accept the highest quality art, the kind that could be a book cover or computer game cover.
Sorry. My kid sister is kind of a A-word about that. Please keep submitting. Just don't get mad if your stuff gets rejected. She rejects 90% of submissions.
Thanks for your interest. A lot of online bullies flip when I reject their art. We accept only art work that would be about right for book or computer game covers so yes we do reject 90% of submissions. Honestly if you want to succeed in life be prepared to fail, a lot, and dust yourself off to try again. Thanks for your interest but due to online bullies I might be shutting this site down soon. You'd be surprised how men turn into hostile children when their art gets rejected. I'm not making this up.
no not dead. I come on once a month. A couple of jerks were rude when I rejected their art (men turn mean when their art gets rejected. I'm not making this up) so I found other pursuits for a while.
Thanks to all artists who got rejected and continued submitting. In a way, that's kind of what life is like.
