Description
Character: Nutmeg
When did this become their favorite?
As a little girl, Nutmeg used to scavenge ancient ruins with her father. The monoliths left scattered in all corners of the Earth by the long lost human race were known to be packed with interesting artifacts and technology that Nutmeg's father would repurpose into all variety of new inventions.
Once, while exploring a desolate tennis club (one of many human sports that enjoyed a renaissance millennia after their extinction), Nutmeg discovered a human-made tennis racket that was uncannily preserved. Or, at least it was in better shape than the mummified skeleton of the human who was still holding it. After this event, Nutmeg became obsessed with the sport, and after a couple of years of begging her father finally allowed her to cut back on her time spent exploring so that she could focus more on her new passion. She dreamed of going pro one day, just like she assumed that skeleton had been...probably...maybe?
Unfortunately, after the very mysterious disappearance of Nutmeg's father, she was forced to give up on chasing stardom in the tennis community so that she could help provide for her younger brother and sister. Back she went to scavenging from human ruins, selling what she could and tinkering with what she couldn't. She continued to play tennis, but only when she could find the time.
As fate would have it, Nutmeg's would eventually become a household name anyway, but not for anything so droll as her success in sports...

Ohh, I love the dynamic pose! And that's an interesting way to discover a favorite sport - a bit macabre, but I get why an ancient artifact would catch someone's interest like that.
