The origin of the Lúminei happened in a distant Plane of existence (known as Hullei), but are now scattered throughout many other Planes.

At the beginning, these beings were merely amorphous clusters of light, but something (or someone) forced them to evolve or die.
The extynguishers¹ found a feast and had no intention of leaving it. In these early years there was a slaughter of Lúminei that were decimated to 1% of its former population. Still, their primitivism prevented them from thinking, so that only a few searched for refuge.
These beings did not have a true language nor thought processes, so that for them the fate seemed sealed: total and irreversible extinction.

But something changed this dark future. A being of a different category looked at the rest of this race, once numerous. Now reduced to a few dozen who took refuge in a nebula. This being whispered a word of knowledge to the protolúminei, this word would work wonders in the future.

The Lúminei, thanks to their unknown benefactor, now had a slight chance. Once all their fellows were gone, they decided that everyone can do what they want for themselves.

Some fled, others were thrown to battle and there were those who took to a black hole. About five of them remained in the nebula and decided to stay together forever. While doing this, their bodies began to intertwine. Suddenly there was an explosion².

The five had been transformed into a being of humanoid appearance, and also could think! This gave rise to what today is known as the Prymeros Lúminei (or Fyrst Lúminei).

One of them sat for a while. The first thing that he felt was lonelyness, and he decided to leave the Plane (he had acquired the ability to teleport to the same site but of another Plane). When he arrived, he saw that there was another Fyrst there, and he be no longer alone. Together they also decided to leave the Plane.

The Fyrst decided to found a civilization on the Plane where they were at that time (Qllei). It is unknown what the number of Fyrst, speculated that five.
The "Fyrst to Act" decided to establish the basis of technology and work among Lúminei.
The "Fyrst to Ponder" decided to found the philosophy of the Lúminei, Prymaim.
The "Fyrst to Laugh" saw what would be necessary to invent entertainment and the lumineitic arts.

But everything still empty of Lúminei.

Then the "Fyrst Alone" decided that they had to reproduce³, and hence arose the common Lúminei⁴.

After all this, the "Fyrst to Cry," said, "The extynguishers will come, and we can't do anything against them" and the common Lúminei learned to defend themselves.

The Prymeros remained a long time between their siblings and children, but it comes a day when they left in search of their benefactors ⁵.
When they left the Lúminei, they had reached a developed civilization to a degree similar to that of other civilizations that lived in the Middle Ages⁶.

The Lúminei progressed a lot after that. Increased both its technology and knowledge of their innate abilities (related to light). Soon, however, they have the complications of civilized life. A sect, which at first had few followers, was settling due to its alarmist message. This church called for the coming of the end in the form of extynguishers. It is known by historians as "the Church of the Advent."

The Church of the Advent had developed throughout its history a plot of subterfuge, sabotage and "accidents" that were on the rise. But when Lúminei decided they had to colonize new planets, the Church though a plan: instead of sabotaging the work, the Church dedicated resources to assist the government, and then infiltrate in the colonies.
The first Lúminei spacecraft was a ship that it would be now considered very simple. It was mounted with common materials and a battery of photons. At the time of the space race, the Fyrst Lúminei were seen as creatures of the myths. And that favored the Church to impose their way of thinking on their followers. The Church ceased to hide once came to the colonies, and waged a campaign of delegitimization of the regular government.
When the government began investigating the Church, the Church had managed to convince religious fanatics that assault the Bright (title given to the political leaders of the Lúminei during this time). This was the trigger for Lumineitic Civil War.

As always happens in wars, it stimulated the production of methods and devices.
But there was a slaughter of Lúminei that almost led to the extinction for the second time. The Church had infiltrated in every social group. Due to this the war was easy for them.

Over time, the Church ceased to persecute loyalists to ensure the survival of the species, while commending the population into exile in the case of not following the precepts of the Church. Then the Church was in control of the capital. They wanted to establish a permanent military system to prevent what they called "The Coming of the Extynguishers."

However, the extynguishers wouldn't be those who would come to defeat them. Another race took too long waiting, hidden in the edges of Lúminei system, and was not willing to wait anymore. This race was the Bloody Fricai, taking advantage of the deplorable state of Lúminei, the Bloody Fricai exterminate them without effort.

Those who fled from the Church of the Advent are the predecessors of all L&uactue;minei found today.

The history of Fyrst L&uactue;minei is uncertain. Some say they never found their benefactors, others however say that these are the Rajski Ptak, and that, at this time are with them ⁷.
