The ophiocistoid echinoderms Volchovia norvegica and V. mobilis, of Lower Ordovician Europe. The ophiocistoids were a clan of peculiar, tentacled and poorly known relatives of the sea urchins. Volchovia, especially, should not be confused with Wachovia.
