I'm not sure with this particular genus.
Most of the Asian brontotheres had horns that they used as noise-amplifiers, and were probably too fragile to use in actual combat.

Either that, or imagine how a rhinoceros would sound if it knew how to operate a bullhorn.
I'm unsure whether the resonator, which was an extension of the beast's nose, would have made it sound louder, or more nasal.
