If the remains of the one they found were the remains of one eating another wouldn't it be hard to tell the bones apart?

*shivers*

Ooh, just imagined what it'd be like to be eaten alive, headfirst and by an adult of my own species.
Messy.

As a rule, lizards do not chew their prey, and as such, beyond the typical assortment of jumbled bones on the slab, there was a long thin tail and a leg that came out of the mouth and jawbones of a skull (of the adult), and a nice row of jumbled bones where the throat would have been.
...
And now you know how some babysitters want to feel.
