No, it had a stout head. It also had pyramidal back teeth that may have helped it better crunch bone and turtle shells.

I'll elaborate more once I color it.

Overall I like the work you've done with the scaly texture.

However I wonder why it diverges from the crocodilian norm of three clawed inner fingers in a five fingered manus and the same in a four fingered pes. Reference: [link]

IMHO, from where I'm standing, artistic license does not go that far: dinosaurs share the same basic hand morphology so there's a tight bracket on this. I think the thumb should be visible even if only slightly.
I don't know if it had occurred to you to use correction fluid on your drawings. I did use that on some pertinent ones of mine and they're no worse for wear.

Anyway, it's your call. Keep up the good work :)

Aside from the fact that no complete skeleton of Deinosuchus has been found, do realize that giving its forepaw reconstructive surgery in ink takes time, too.
