You know what I've found as I've drawn these designs more and more? I've found that, while these designs are based on G1, the styling has echos of Transformers Prime! Think about it and compare the animation styles between TFP and TFOne. Doesn't the animation styles have certain similarities? Of course, TFOne has its differences due to today's tech, the budget, and the company behind it, but the similarities are there. I think that's yet another reason why I absolutely LOVE this movie already. It (for me at least) hearkens back to the very first Transformers exposure I had, Transformers Prime; a show that not only introduced me to the world of Transformers, but also heavily influenced my art style.

Anyway, I think I might try drawing more TFOne Orion Pax and/or D-16 related art to get familiar with their "teenage" designs. At some point, that is.
