Thanks for the add. I have published books on Amazon and Lulu and Gumroad. I am a poet at Poetry and at AllPoetry.com and I have made a few blogs and FB pages too.

Hi, I’m J.C Tucker. I just want to let you know that both of my books are now on Amazon.

Hello there, I'm an aspiring writer who was just hopping around DA looking for groups where I could share my work in the hopes of growing and receiving feedback on it, and this seemed like a good place to give a shot
I just had a few questions before I dove in;

Is there anything that I need to do prior to joining? I saw the "Meet a Writer" thing, but it seems like very few people have actually done this. Is it optional? (I am a little introverted, especially online)

How active is the community? DA is primarily a visual art site, so literature lags, and a number of the other groups I've seen around are either busy, but with little in the way of member interaction (as in no one seems to engage with each other), or they're effectively on life support.

Is more "adult material" welcome, and where? To make a long story short, my works are in the 18+ range
Hello back! I apologize for the regretfully late response. I finally returned to DA two days ago after nearly four years away. My intent is to help this literature community grow.

Writers are spread throughout the community: alone, afraid, and unengaged.

I'm currently in the process of establishing a solid foundation as a group and writer so we can begin to build relationships, trust, and user engagement.

I hope I didn't reach back too little too late. I'm happy to have you amongst the ranks!

As I am continually active, and the alert system still works, it could be said "better late than never". Though welcoming me to the group is a bit premature as I have not joined due to my questions not being answered, in particular the last one. And that does bring up the question if where my story would go if it was ok and I did join.

All the same, thank you for relying.

At the moment, there are no requirements for joining. Due to inactivity, the "Meet a Writer" series fell to the wayside. However, feel free to participate as we're hoping to stir things up and re-engage writers. The best bet is to comment on journals or reply to comments.

The literature community is nowhere near as active as four years ago. While I can't speak to our success yet, we are going to make a solid attempt at user engagement from here on out.

Yes, mature content is allowed.
