Hi all, I'm not dead! I just ran out of my backlog of photos to upload and have not taken anymore since then. My team and I are in a bit of a hiatus at the moment. which we normally do over winter. Focusing on real life and other things. I personally have been working on renovating my room into a space that's easier for me to access my research books and just over all better for creating and writing. I'm also in the process of building a new computer. I have finished collecting parts and begin building either tomorrow or the following day.
I want to remind you all that I do have other social media accounts and a Discord server! Please use the provided linktree to join those if you'd like to hang out! Until next time, Katey~

Wow! I hit 100 watchers today! I'm glad everyone's been enjoying my photos! Also big thanks to @Pawel777 for being my 100th watcher!
Just to kind of keep everyone in the loop here.
It has come to the point were I am unable to properly work on any of the art and design parts of the book currently. My computer is just getting too old, the storage drive is too small and old to run photoshop for long, and its in desperate need of a fresh install of windows to eliminate some annoying bugs.
I've neglected to mention it here but been quite vocal and transparent about it on my Twitch discord, but the plan is to completely rebuild the computer early next year. I have been slowly gathering parts since about August, investing in small upgrades with each part. Including a much bigger 1TB SSD drive so photoshop has plenty of room to work and a 4TB HDD for general storage.
The last items I need to collect is a new CPU, I'm needing one with more threads so I can stop overwhelming mine which has caused a few of my issues. I'm jumping from a 4 to 16 threads so it should be able to multitask easier. I also need a new mother board that will accommodate all the updated hardware I bought.
The tricky part will be affording all this at the same time as Christmas, but I'm hoping to score a good deal on Black Friday, which is a traditional American day for huge sales just before Christmas.
If all goes well the computer should be rebuilt around January - February.
After I finish the computer my next big project will be saving for a car. So I will be a little strapped for money once again but I need to do something cuz dad refuses to do anything about his suffering, dying vehicle and I refuse to be stranded somewhere if I can help it. This would probably be a 1-2 year commitment.
This just means there will be a delay on any new research materials, research trips, or paid commissions. However, a friend has offered to do some of my simpler commissions needs for free going forward, which I will pay him back the value of once the books are published so that will help keep things slowly move during this time. We've already got a few human characters designed and a new vehicle character in the works.
So ya.. that's the current situation and plans. Thanks for sticking around I really appreciate your on going support to the project. It's the biggest thing I've ever tried to do but I'm doing my best to keep working on it, and even though its taking us so long I do feel the story is much better planned out and stronger then it was 5 years ago.
Thank you. <3
Yesterday appears to have concluded all my photos from my travels out of state. I hope you enjoyed seeing all the photos from Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado! We will now move on to photos from back in my home state of California.
Hello everyone! I just wanted to make a quick update post. Content uploads will be on pause for a little while as I have not had the time to schedule more from my trip. There's so many more from around Colorado and California I'd love to share but life has thrown me some pretty big curve balls and I feel like I'm nearly drowning trying to meet deadlines and expectations. I'm working as hard and as fast as I can to get caught up so I can spend time scheduling more content over here as well as writing the rest of my blogs. So please don't leave, there will be more soon promise!
