Unfortunately there were just five requests, so I must choose the sixth character by myself (Could it be that I'm really that much unpopular?), but I think, just the german speaking people of you will know him.
It's the magician Prof. Dr. Magister Magicus, but his nickname is Bunterkunt. He appears in the austrian fairy tale series "Swabidu", but he appears in just one book; "Reise über den Regenbogen".
Bunterkunt is a magician and he lives in a land behind a rainbow. Everything in this land is grey or black and that's why he's unhappy everytime. In his laboratory he looks for a way to find colors. In his own song you can hear this refrain:

"Cum aqua et cum natrio
et acidus sulfurico,
laboriere ich herum,
doch manchmal macht es ´Bumm´!"
