Character Collage: The Grinch

Here's a collage of my favourite “Dr. Seuss” character. It's the Grinch from the book and the animated short “How the Grinch stole Christmas” (1966).

The Grinch is so evil because his heart it “two sizes too small”, but at the end he realizes his fault and his heart grows three sizes and he celebrates Christmas with the Who's. His sidekick is his dog Max.

I knew this character from looking, because in both “Home Alone” movies Kevin watches this cartoon. But I know his name from the real-life movie “How the Grinch stole Christmas”(2000) with Jim Carrey as the main character.

Of course the Grinch was parodied in much TV-Shows like here in “The Simpsons”, where Mister Burns acts like him:

There are also two animated prequels/sequels to the short: “Halloween is Grinch Night” (1977) and “The Grinch grinches the Cat in the Hat”(1982). Both won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program.
