I know this is a little late, but hello, again.  I haven't been to active in old cars much anymore, but still have the Comet.  Still under 50K miles.  To old to take much care of them anymore (83), but I did trade my 1958 Ford for a 2013 Mustang GT with under 5K miles even stephen.  A kick to drive.  You can see it on my site along with the Lincoln MK-V I got.  Anything new with you car wise?  Hope to hear from you sooner than I replied.  Forgive me.  Tom

Hey Tom! Glad to hear from ya! Cool to know you've still got your Comet. That Mustang sounds like a lot of fun too! I'll have to check out your pictures again.

Nothing new car-wise, really. Old Maxine hasn't been fired up since January 2019 (bad lifter clatter/saving up for engine rebuild.) I'm hoping to land a job soon so I can get the old girl running again.

No worries about the slow reply on your end, you're good. I'm just sorry I don't log on and check my messages more. I'm honestly about done with deviantART. I just want to save the last few bits of art from this site that I like, (though I keep forgetting to do that,) then odds are I'm deactivating my account. I'll let you know beforehand, and I'll give you my contact info so we can keep in touch afterwards.

How's everything else going? Survived 2020 okay?

Hi friend, again.  Need your email address because I have a really neat picture of a Comet your color from a full page Saturday Evening Post advertisement that I want to send you.  cotmj1@gmail.com.  Thanks
Hey, thanks for the get back.  Yes, I still have the Comet but have you looked at my site to see the new '65 Falcon Ranchero?  After I got it, it had a serious left pull resulting in a complete frontend rebuild.  If you want to see a sales video on it, go here.

Not much other news car wise.  Glad to hear from you.

Tom
Yeah! I've seen your Ranchero a few times. I've got a similar problem with my Comet right now. It's not as severe, but the front end needs to be replaced. Where'd you get the parts for yours? They're the same as they are on the Comet, right? Glad to hear from you too. Sorry I take so long to respond.
Austin, haven't heard from you in quite a while.  How is your Comet?

cotmj
Hey Tom! "Maxine the Merc" is still driving, but she's due for a new front end. The current one got bent a little bent out of shape over 2 months ago, but is still safe enough to drive for short trips. Finally got the brakes fixed, so no more "left turn assistance" for me! There's still a long list of things to fix on her, but I'm at least able to drive her again. I'd drive her even more if the weather would cool down, though. Other than that, not much else to say about my Comet, except that I got to drive her to my college graduation back in May. That was fun!

How's everything going with you? Sorry I haven't spoken much, just haven't been as active on here as of late. Do you still have your Comet, or did you sell it?
