I have been looking for this for like, forever! Great job!

I have to ask, was her long hair inspired by the cover to Fox Sister?

She has a traditionnal korean haircut.
I don't know the cover of foxsister, what is it ?

Yeah, I actually found out about the hair style not too long ago. xD

The cover art: 30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lo5…

It wasn't that it looked similarly, it was more that it was really long. I didn't know of the gache back then so I though she had really, really long hair, which made me think of the cover.

So every character with a hair bun or a long hair is inspired by the cover of Fox Sister ?
I really do not understand what is your point here... 0___o

No no, it was more the fact that they were both foxes. Gumihos to be exact. There is next to no art of them as most fox art depicts Kitsunes, so I wondered if you had seen the cover for Fox Sister during your research and implemented the long hair into the art piece. This was before I knew of the wig, (gache), and that is why I asked.

Gumiho is a traditionnal korean creature. The clothes of the illustration are traditional too.  And the hair cut.
All is from korean culture.
I don't understand why you say it's an inspiration from the cover of fox sister.

Did you do this all on a computer? I am always amazed to see such painterly skill done with a mouse! I also adore the color palette in this one.

Digital artworks are mainly done with a tablet and not with a mouse... ^_^;

This is absolutely stunning! Such wonderful use of color and texture. I love the kitsune legends, and I really like how you kept the more sinister look of the real thing in this piece. The attention to detail in the flowers and backgrounds are simply fantastic. You are definitely very gifted! :)
