They're called Zoids. There were originally a motorized model line that started a year before Transformers in the 80s. Then early 2000s there were a few anime tie ins and continuation of the models. Now we have kotobukiya and few other companies still creating models like this Command Wolf, though koto's are all poseable instead of motorized. I've even seen a few cross-overs people have done with Transformers and Zoids. There's a lot of kitbashes where people have used a Lightning Saix zoid to make Ravage.
Heh yeah, those hind legs are just terrible for multiple reasons lol I'd like to do the same modifications to this one as I did with a different wolf of mine that made it look way better. I'm just a sucker for the white wolves lol
No one does unless they've RPd with me on ZWF. Except now he's a big bad Kaiser Wolf and I luffles him. I really hope Kotobukia releases a konig soon. I want to do a kit bash to make him again as a kaiser wolf. I've never kit bashed before.... o-o
At least since the konig is white by default painting should be easier :')
Oh man I've been dying to see a HMM Konig Wolf among so many other zoids lol Kitbashing's pretty fun to do. It's both challenging and rewarding. A Dremel tool is a must for kitbashes. It will make your life so much easier.
I have the original but accidentally skipped the repackage. Thought it was pre-ordered with my Shield Liger, but apparently decided to 'order it later' and plum forgot! Really looking forward to picking one up eventually though, if I can find another for a good price. It has such gorgeous box art and I love the wolves.
I'm so glad they did a repackaged version with all the guns since I missed out on the white wolf's original release. Saw that they're re-issuing a lot of kits, so it's good to see that they're still in demand to require another production run.
