"Untranslatables" are terms that lack a direct equivalent in another language, capturing nuances or concepts that are difficult to express without a lengthy explanation or a different phrasing. The challenge is to create a multimedia collage that depicts the definitions of the words below that have no English translation. Choose at least three. Define the word artistically without using English text. Can represent the Japanese culture or not, but must define the word. Make your art a universal language. Spring in Action Foster Growth, Celebrate Development Submissions will be classified into two categories for this contest: Art and Synthography (AI) Goal Create an image about the theme. Starts March 1st Ends March 29th Zoom In, Zoom Out Since our group daily challenges this month are about Macro images, I thought it would be fun to do some series that zoom in from landscape to macro, or zoom out. Whichever direction you like. HINT: Think of a bottle (image 1) on a shelf (image 2), in a store window (image 3), on a market street (image 4.) Or a lost coin on the street, but each image you zoom a bit farther out till you get a bird's-eye view of the whole city. Rules for these Challenges: Creations must be SFW and PG13.
